Looks great and works – really!
I do not review often, however, this item deserves one. It is hard to find hair clips that work unless you have perfectly “normal” hair. A great hair clip is hard to find.1. If you have very thick or a lot of long hair this particular clip might not/probably won’t work unless you get a large.2. If you have to your shoulder blades finer hair it will work in medium.3. I have barely below my shoulder/shoulder length VERY fine hair. Also, I have lost A LOT of hair – think alopecia amount loss (not as bad as some ladies) and I will use cover up on areas where scalp shows. (Joan Rivers Great Day Hair – highly recommend – great stuff) I do not have to use (or use very little) scalp “makeup” with this clip as it doesn’t separate my hair like a claw clip. Sometimes I use a small hair topper and this works with it when I put my hair up, just being careful of the topper base.4. Claw clips with thin hair have a tendency to separate hair into strips on the side of your head exposing scalp. Not this one – at least with clean hair for me so far. (I haven’t tried it when my hair is dirty yet) Hair stays all together just the way I have brushed it without fiddling to make it look okay like I always seem to have to do with a claw clip.7. If you need a sleek tight ballerina type bun this probably won’t work for you.8. The clip is sturdy, and you get 6 for what 2 at the drug store would cost.9. There is one other style clip this same company makes that I recommend – It is called the French Concord curved clip. Again – I purchased it in a medium to put up my not a lot and very fine hair.

Finally a clip for thick hair!!
I ordered Large due to the length (lower chest-length) and thickness of my hair. Nothing, nuuuhh-thing, has been able to successfully hold my hair in place before, regardless of type of clip or how many thousand bobbypins I’d have to use for reinforcement. I was *shocked* at how well this clip instantly worked to hold my hair EXACTLY in place, and without the need for any other clips or pins! 🤯Adding that these clips are extremely comfortable to wear and even sleep in, as well as durable. Totally worth the hype.

These clips make putting ur hair into a French twist very easy. I previously bought & returned the big combs bc they were hard to use. Couldn’t get my hair into good French twist & they gave me a headache bc they press against ur head. These hold ur hair well & don’t pull on ur hair or scalp. Happy with purchase. 💯

Maybe these will be good for someone who doesn’t have fine, slippery type hair, but even three of them don’t sufficiently hold my hair up. And one broke after using it maybe three times.

The BEST Hair Clips for Thick Hair
These are the BEST. I randomly found out about this brand while searching online for clips for thicker hair. I am Latina with thick, wavy/curly 2C-3A hair. I purchased three different varieties of their clips, and they’re all very sturdy. However, these are my favorite because due to the curved design, you can fit more hair in them. All of their clips are extremely sturdy and have a nice strong grip. The best clips I have ever used, these are all I wear now. Love them so much, I went back and bought another pack of these in the clear/brown variety. Be advised that this pack does not have black in it, I thought that one of them was, but it’s a very dark burgundy color and a dark navy blue.

Something that finally works
I have very long, thick, with natural curl hair and it’s fine. It’s impossible to find anything to keep my hair up without it slipping out and looking a mess. This clip works wonders. I roll my hair into a tight bun and clip, it works!!!!! I use these to work outside and my hair doesn’t fall out. If your hair is like mine I promise these clips will work. I hate ponytails, with all my hair laying on my back. It makes me 10 times hotter working outside.

I cannot get these to really hold hair in place, they don’t hold the hair securely and they slide out.

If you’ve been looking for an alternative to your brand name jaw clips, this! Is!! It!! I got my first sets last year, and they are strong enough to hold my hair in a bun, comfortable enough to lay down on, and they don’t start shedding teeth four months in! Buy with confidence, sure to please!

When I make a ponytail in my hand (no band used) and then twist it upwards, the twist is only one inch wide and fits the small size, but medium is better and more in scale with my size 20 body type! The glossy finish is really lovely. Colours in the classic multicolour set are:- Deep navy, deep oxblood, cherry, cream, yellow-green and dusty orange. Ideally I’d have preferred a richer olive (instead of the yellow-green which is rather a strange colour) and rust (more practical than the dusty orange). The oxblood is GORGEOUS – easily my favourite and will go well with aubergine which I wear a lot in winter. It’s great to have a variety of colours, to match the colours within an outfit. The clips are really comfy (no pinchy scalp feeling at all), robust, hold hair well all day long and are never in the way when your head is against a headrest as they lie flat.. I now have 3 sets of these in different shapes and colours – and love them all. They do seem a little pricey but when that’d divided into 6, the cost for each is about average. They are nicer than average, though as they look classy with just the right amount of prominence … there, and pretty, but not over-the-top obvious (unless you go for the brights which can be as stand-outy as you like). I think I’ve just talked myself into buying another set … those long thin ones look nice and are lingering in my basket …

Sono dei clip a forma di banyan leaf molto belle e tengono bene i capelli lunghi. Purtroppo uno è arrivato rotto e due graffiati. L’imballaggio era intatto quindi presumo che erano già prima dell’imballaggio in questo stato. Non li ho restituiti perché mi sembrerebbe uno spreco di risorse.
