Great Gift For Teenager
This is a really nice sleeping bag. Well made and soft flannel inside. Roomy and taller length it seems. Not sure if the hood will be used, but it’s there for cold nights for our grandson on his adventures outdoors with his grandfather.

Finally, a flannel lined bag suitable for backpackers.
I prefer the rectangular flannel-lined sleeping over the “mummy” bags for comfort, but they are usually too bulky and heavy for backpacking. My old mummy bag needed replacing when I found this bag. I ordered the 2 lb fill, hoping it would be suitable for backpacking. Using the supplied compression sack, I am able to fit the bag in my backpack in the same space as my old bag. The rectangular shape allows for less restrictive movement in the bag and the flannel lining is every bit as comfortable as I thought it would be. Although the 3 and 4 lb fill options would probable make it too bulky for backpacking, they should keep you warm in 20 degree weather. I also have a lightweight flannel liner bag in case of cold weather. Unlike other flannel bags I’ve had, this one has a waterproof outer cover. I would highly recommend this sleeping bag to anyone for backpacking or camping. Almost forgot, at $42 dollars this bag is definitely a bargain!

A comfortable, lightweight bag that works great for it’s $30 price
I purchased this sleeping bag for field drills with the Army National Guard. It packs very small, is lighter than the USGI summer sleeping bag, and leaves me at 6’2″ with plenty of room for boots and uniforms and anything else I would like to not sleep on top of, but have warm in the morning. The extra pocket is a nice touch, letting me store a small flashlight or headlamp in a consistent and conspicuous place in case I wake up on the wrong side of the bed and forget my own name. Most importantly of all, the flannel feels very warm and soft compared to the nylon of the USGI bag I purchased this to replace. The negatives I have for this sleeping bag so far are mostly nitpicks, but I feel people should understand some of its limitations and plan around them.Under about 40°F, a bivy, insert, or wubbie is needed to keep the cold air from coming through onto you in a very bone-chilling way. In mornings after such nights, the dew tends to seep into the outside of the bag when I decide not to cover it and allow it to accumulate. The quilting and the outside of the sleeping bag are very thin and flimsy, so it should not be used on the bare ground. The zipper readily skips and is difficult to zip up from the outside, and the velcro retainer wears out extremely quickly. After about a week of use, the flannel lining starts to feel matted and gross. Although I face the same problem with nylon bags, the accumulation of grime seems to happen more quickly with this flannel one.Washing is a process, however I’ve only hand washed it in a tub, sprayed it down with a hose, and air dried it.Overall, this is a fantastic sleeping bag for the price, and great for anyone looking for a light and comfortable option appropriate for cool nights by itself, or cold nights with additional preparation.

Warm enough
My family goes camping regularly in early spring and fall season. This sleeping bag is not only warm enough but also comfortable. The only downside is a little bit thick probably designed that way to make it comfortable.

So far an excellent sleeping bag.
For those of you don’t really like mummy style sleeping bags or where those are too cold, this could be the bag for you. Great for car camping. Easy to get in and out of. Doesn’t twist up on you. Not going to make it for cold backpacking since it’s not as warm as others and is large

Excellent first impression. Big/tall guys? This is a good one!
First off, I’m a big n tall guy, 6’3” and 260. I was looking for a light-ish, packable sleeping bag that fits me, and still small enough to use for motorcycle camping. I think this will be just fine. I got the 2 pound fill. In its sack it’s 19” long and about 10” in diameter, and you could probably smash it a bit more if needed. And on my scale weighs 4 lbs 8.5 ounces. The flannel lining is nice and feels good and warm for what it is at this fill weight. It’s really long! The open half round area where my head goes leaves me nowhere near bearing able to touch the end with my feet. At my size, it’s sort of snug, but I can easily roll over inside if it with it completely zipped up. Think it’s going to be perfect for my needs! It’s also not hard to roll and get back on its sack. Will ad to the review after my first trip using it. Can’t wait!

Nice but not warm enough
The temp MAY have dipped to 40 at night and I was miserable with just this bag and a wool blanket the first night. The 2nd night I put another sleeping bag under it and the wool blanket on top and I was finally warm. Next time I’m going to put a yoga mat on my air mattress for insulation and a big blanket on top.

Only used twice since purchasing. Found this item warm and well sized, sturdy zipper. Highly recommended.

Used it twice so far, with temperatures between 6C and 20C. It did a pretty good job. The flannel feels great, and there’s plenty of space for me. I’m slighlt claustrophobic, so that’s a win.According to the labels, it can’t be washed, which is not ideal for cotton/flannel.
