this is the best balaklava i have used by far, i work in a refrigerated warehouse 4 stories up on a scissor lift, temps can get as low as 10′ F so the lower part that covers my neck and shoulders really help keep the cold out, and the hood is large enough to cover my entire head with the Covid19 mask and sheild i have to wear

Great for warmth!
This is great to hear if you’re out in very wingy or snowy weather. Our 19 yr old son just bought a motorcycle so I thought this would be great to protect him from the wind when it’s cold. It fits rather well, keeps his neck covered too, and blocks out wind greatly. It is pretty bulky, that’s why I took off a star. It seems made decently well and it keeps my boy warm, so that’s a plus in my book.

Warm But Bulky
Its a very thick warm balaclava- excellent for cold weather. My biggest complaint is in even the L/XL size its fairly tight and difficult to pull on, and quite bulky and inconvenient with other layers. I would have preferred if the neck curtain would be removed independently, and if there was a little more of a stretch in the neck to allow you to get it on more comfortably. The tight opening is really difficult if you have long hair to not make an absolute mess and then have your hair pulled into your eyes.Once its on, though, it is very snug, keeps out wind, and is very insulating. So I cannot complain about the effectiveness once you have it on well.
