So happy with my first book nook!
Where do I begin with this adorable nook book? Well the condition it came in when it was delivered was great – the package was intact. Once the package was opened, I made sure I had all of the pieces and I did. I really liked that this kit came with glue, a cm ruler, and a tweezer like tool to help you build this piece. The only items you will need to purchase or use that aren’t included in the kit are scissors and AAA batteries.The instructions can be overwhelming but my tip is to just keep your pieces organized and achieve 1 step at a time – building miniatures does take time and patience but have fun with it. I love how everything was labeled and the instructions were clear to follow. I also found it helpful that the wiring for the lights were long and easy to twist together. I’ve worked on other miniatures where the wiring was not long enough, which was frustrating because the house didn’t have the light feature. Anyway, I am so happy with this book nook and once it was completed I instantly placed it in my bookshelf.I would say this is beginner friendly and I recommend this book nook for all book lovers. It’s like a tiny world on your shelf.

I was impressed at the quality of the pieces. And it fits together well, everything lines up. Good idea to put a drop of glue on little things to keep them in place. Need to follow directions closely, in order to find parts and not miss a step. Not much wording in the directions, just pictures. Had fun putting it together. And the lights work! At first I didn’t think they did but when you touch the right spot they go on. That was not clear at all in the directions.

SUPER Delicate, but super fun.
I got this kit for my birthday and put it together in my spare time over a weekend. The worst: 1. The build is very delicate and some of the slots do not allow easy fitting. I recommend using a blade to widen the slots slightly for the parts that don’t easily slide into the slots (i.e. the paper flowers that need to slide a tab into a slot. 2. The battery housing was too fragile to put in and broke so badly I couldn’t use it. However, I put a small dab of hot glue to hold the battery housing to the floor. The best: 1. The instructions are wonderful and easy to read. 2. The build is just beautiful. 3. The little details are so much fun. 4. The wiring was super easy. I recommend gluing the white conduit to the left wall (prior to adding the front panel) instead of trying to put the wooden anchor on the left wall. A small bit of glue (3-in-1 worked perfectly) was so much easier than trying to get one more tab into a super fragile left wall. 5. I loved the floor lamp – so cute. So much of this was fun, but the incredibly fragile nature of the supplies is the reason for four instead of five stars.

Very fun, can be fragile
I built this over a weekend with a friend. Overall, it was pretty easy to follow instructions and most of the components were easy to remove from their original packaging. Everything you need to put this together is included, so it was nice to not need additional tools. It took about 6-8 hours for me to put it together.A couple of key pieces were very snug/difficult to put together. I had to use quite a bit of force and certainly risked breaking some pieces. The friend I was building with did break a couple of their pieces, unfortunately. The instructions also have you glue some items, while others are free floating. Honestly, I would recommend gluing all of the props to the floor/shelves just for stability.There is a light component which works well, but the batter (while well thought out) can still be difficult to access, especially with the loose props I mentioned earlier. While I tested the light prior to attaching it, as soon as it was fully put together, it stopped working reliably.All in all, I had a SUPER fun time putting this together and want to build more. The critiques I have mentioned are miniscule compared to the joy I got from putting it together.My last comment is I would not recommend this for children or for anyone who maybe does not have a good amount of patience. Definately recommend doing this with a friend!

This was a fun distraction
I put this together after evacuating from 🌀Helene and 🌀Milton. It was really fun to watch it come together. I couldn’t get the lights to work but I think that may be operator error. I may try to redo the wiring. But it’s really cute!

I have never done one of these before but fell in love with this one a few months back.These things take TIME. so dedicated a whole afternoon to this project. It took me just about 6 hours to complete although it’s completely worth it! The finished result is beautiful !!The directions are pretty straight forward even for someone as new as me (although I did end up missing a step and had to go back later 😅) They go through the build step by step and it wasn’t too hard to figure out what I was doing. I did find that there was a few discrepancies while making it. One being the instructions for the wiring. At one point it will ask you to cut 3 pieces of housing which you then thread the electrical through. The issue is it only tells you to attach one piece to the house frame and then you have no idea what to do with the rest. I ended up at the end having to go back once a lot of it was built to try and feed the cable it through parts. It was very tricky and if you have bigger hands that would be difficult.I would also recommend gluing almost every single piece down. The housing to turn on the light is underneath and if things aren’t glued down, if you ever have to change batteries, it will move or pop out of place.And lastly, the light sensor does not work. No matter which way you put it, it will not work from the outside which is to be expected as the housing is made of wood which doesn’t conduct electricity or allow a sensor to pass through. Definitely not an issue as it still works so I just touch it from underneath.Overall, if someone is wanting to do an adult puzzle or create their own miniature, this would make a great gift.

En cuestión de empaque todo llegó muy bien, la caja venÃÂa sellada y no me faltó ninguna pieza. La verdad creo que es un buen proyecto, es muy sencillo y relajante de hacer, las instrucciones son bastante claras y este en especÃÂfico el libro de instrucciones trae varios idiomas, porque he comprado otros y las instrucciones sólo vienen en inglés.Yo tardé unos 5 dÃÂas en hacerlo, porque le dedicaba de a ratos, pero sin problema es un proyecto que se puede terminar en un dÃÂa. Para la luz ocupa dos pilas AA, recomiendo tenerlas a la mano.

Looks just as good as the pictures/youtube videos, and the glue that comes with it is just fine. Tweezers are a must.
