Best guinea pig hay feeder I could find
I recently bought the Rabbit Hay Feeder Rack for my guinea pigs, and I am very happy with its design. I purchased 3 other feeders at the same time to compare and this one was the best hands down. It is not made out of material that the pigs can eat, which already puts it above most of the competition, but it is also very sturdy, and attaches very easily to our pen, and it has a very versatile attachment mechanism (you screw on a peg that holds it on to the frame of a pen wall or cage).Very good feeder for hay and it also doesn’t dump hay all over the place (besides what the guinea pigs do themselves :P)

Love it – Exactly What I Needed – Holds Alot
Very Pleased with this Hay Feeder! It holds a lot and I don’t have to worry about constantly refilling it. It holds the hay so our bunnies can eat directly from it with very little waste in the outside of the container. The way it attaches to the enclosure is firm and sturdy. I don’t have to worry about it being popped off or pushed out of place. Highly Recommend.

It really works!
This really is saving Timothy Hay from being wasted. Have had guinea pigs for years and only recently bought this for our lone senior guinea pig. I stuff it super full and the spring-loaded grate really saves a lot of hay from being wasted.Hay that is on the habitat floor doesn’t get eaten and if most of it is on the floor, it’s just wasted money. Our little guy is clearly eating plenty because after stuffing it, not only do we see him eating from it, but the amount of hay is significantly lessened and very little hay is strewn on the habitat floor. More hay to eat, less waste, cost savings.

Worthwhile, functional, but design flaws
I used the Kaytee hay and pellet feeder before, but I hated how much hay gets in the bottom of the feeder reservoir that my rabbits can’t get to and how big it jutted out of the cage. This new one is thin and all of the hay is readily available. It doesn’t pack a lot of hay comparatively but it is definitely enough for a day’s worth for one rabbit. The grate is clamped securely to ensure that hay doesn’t get everywhere in the cage, but perhaps a little too securely… I wedged some nontoxic paper between the grate and the plastic so there is a little more give so the hay pulls out more easily. Also, I recommend removing the metal “bite guard” in the front as it does nothing functional, and detaches incredibly easily so curious bunnies may chew on it.

Best hay feeder I have found!
I was looking for something a little less messy than some of the open feeders. I like that the back is closed in. It is large enough to store more hay than most other feeders I tried! It is sturdy and durable. My rabbit actually uses it as a ledge to jump down from one floor to the other repeatedly.

Holds a lot but…
To be honest I’m not sure how many stars to give this. The container does hold a lot of hay & is easy to install; however, my rabbit gets frustrated when eating from this feeder. He digs at it to get the hay out & manages to pull majority of it out. Can’t tell if I’m stuffing the hay wrong, the actual product, or if my rabbit is just picky.

Great for keeping hay clean!
Love this product! The design is simple and sleek making it perfectly paired with Lola’s litter box. Easy to fill. The back has plastic screw inserts meant for screwing onto a cage wire but since our bun is free roam, we put some adhesive hooks on the side of her house and used zip ties to hook the screws on. Size is a tad bit small and you have to fill it every 1.5-2 days but so worth!
