Durable and would purchase item again
I took advantage on the sale of this item because it was the brand Samsung. The item was soft, durable, and was worth every penny!

These are legit, however…
These are the real deal. However, are they from a bad batch? Everything about them looks authentic. The Samsung logo, the qr code on the back, The cut outs are pretty clean. Couple of minor gripes with mine. Don’t know if it’s supposed to be made this way or not. There’s a gap between the two sides when unfolded, I would say like at least 1mm, maybe 1.5mm, bigger than most cases. There is also a little wiggle room up by the selfie camera and down by the charger where the case doesn’t fit right. I tried to force both sides of the case in a little tighter, but didn’t succeed. It’s like as if both sides are a little too tight fitting around the selfie camera and the charger port that it buldges the case out a little. It causes the case to have a slight gap in the middle of the phone, and on both ends at the end. It could have been designed this way for some reason, or it could be that these are cases that didn’t meet the quality standard that Samsung has set. Either way, I only paid $20 when this case retails at some stores for $79. Score.

High Quality
The protection is always my first need. That being said, I dropped my phone shortly after getting this case. The only damage was a small mark on the corner of the case. So it is very durable and yet so cute.

It interferes with the volume button
I like this case other than the fact that it must slide somehow and cover up part of the volume button. 8 am constantly having to fix it…..EDIT: this phone case is now constantly pressing the volume control. It’s useless 😔

Didn’t work
Got the case looked perfect. But literally the next day dropped the phone getting out of my car and the phone broke. It was not even a very big fall but the hinge broke. The case did not protect the phone at all

Love the feel of this. Have been complemented many times too.UPDATE: Nov 2024While this was a great cover initially, it didn’t last long. The cover now has become really dirty and lost most of the color and has not lived up that long. Within 6-7 months it has deteriorated which is disappointing for the price it costs.
The seller shipped the item promptly and it arrived in original Samsung packaging. It fits the phone perfectly and, unlike most phone cases is actually attractive. It does add much bulk and provides a reasonable amount of protection to the hinge. It also feels very nice to hold.

I liked my new Samsung Z Flip 4 smartphone when I received it a few weeks ago it but I soon realized I needed a case for it and soon because, without that accessory, my phone was much too easy to drop. My Z Flip 4 is very shiny and I feel there’s almost no grip, open or closed. So, I looked for a case that offered better grip and protection for the folding mechanism in case of an accidental drop on a hard surface. Because the leather strap does not cover the corners of the folded phone, this Samsung leather case cannot offer complete protection; I imagine that if the folded phone should drop on either corner adjacent to the hinge, the folding mechanism could be damaged. Still, it’s a chance I was willing to take if only because I have much less chance of dropping the thing to begin with as the leather case offers a very good grip, again whether open or closed. One downside is that the phone is bulkier and does not slide in my side pants pocket quite as easily as before but having the case’s protection and a better grip makes this case very much worth the slight extra bulk.The case fits well and with no tendency to slip off. The charging port access leaves plenty of room to connect my charging wire and the on/off button is entirely uncovered and easy to reach. The volume control is covered by the case but the sound is nevertheless still easy to adjust. I ordered my case in ‘Serene Purple’ to match my blue Flip 4 and I like it.Overall, after one week’s use on my phone, I’m happy with this purchase.EDITED on 13 September 2023. Eight months after I purchased this smartphone case, I find I can no longer use it and I had to remove it from my Flip4. The trouble began shortly after I purchased my case and I began noticing my sound volume control kept sliding down to ‘off’ automatically almost every time I handled my phone. I searched the Internet for a solution but could not pinpoint any particular reason for this behavior. Finally, I turned to Samsung for help but, even if my Flip 4 is one of Samsung’s special customer care models, their online tool could not find the reason why my volume control was always turning off automatically. I kept looking for a solution and, simply on a hunch, I removed my Samsung leather case from my Flip4. The minute I did so, my problem went away. I removed my Samsung leather case two weeks ago now and I have not had to touch my volume control once since then. I don’t know why the case seemed to interfere with my Flip 4’s normal operation but, somehow, it did. Now, after 8 months, I can no longer return my leather case so, unfortunately, I lost $34 by purchasing this Samsung product and I’m withdrawing my original 4-star recommendation.
