Tight Grip
I’ve purchased these several times. My hair is thick and long. These clips grasp my hair and stay put. The plastic.coating on the inside keeps your hair from splitting. The only drawback I’ve found is they keep my head too far forward from the headrest. I will continue to use these clips and recommend them for thick hair.

Great value, great product
Usually have a short bob but last haircut was January 2020, due to COVID-19. Hair is thick and has grown past my shoulders. I put it in a ponytail, spiral the hair in a circle around it, and use this clip to hold the whole thing in place. It works really well at grabbing the hair and holding it in place for an entire day. Other octopus clips tend to slip throughout the day, but this one has strong rubber grips on the inside that are great. It comes in nice neutral colors like brown and black. I have had two of these for about 6 months. I alternate them, using one everysingle day, and they’re holding up well, so far. Overall, a great value for the money and the only small negative is that I’d like it to be a bit more rounded in it’s shape. But, other than that, no complaints, and I will definitely buy more of this product, as needed, in the future.

Not durable
I LOVED these hairclips but they must’ve changed because they do not withstand usage anymore. I took a clip out of the package this morning and just now as I took it out of my hair it snapped in half. Don’t even think about putting them in your bag, you’ll probably open it up to them broken in half. They snap in the middle as there’s only a small piece of plastic holding the prongs together. Very sad as I love the grippiness of them. I just can’t justify to keep buying them when they break, I buy a four pack about every 2 months nowadays

Thick hair
If you have a ton of hair and clippers almost never work for you, this is the one. Strong, non slip and the unique octopus design really locks the hold in.

Break easy, but hold thick bun SO WELL
Bought 4 and 2 broke in two days—1 shattered when dropped on tile and the other just came apart when squeezing the clamp. While that warrants a 1-star rating, so hard to find are clips that elegantly and effectively hold a thick bun made of waist-length hair that it prevents the inadequate durability from breaking the deal. Dammit.

My favourite hair clip ever!!! It easily holds my waist length thick hair. Sounds daft but conventional clips of this type can poke you in the head (especially when driving). The flatter style makes this so comfortable & the no slip rubber bits ensures it stays in place! Buying more in case they stop making them!

Endlich eine Haarspange, die meine Haare gut hält. Selbst beim Sport rutscht nichts.Auch das Material scheint besser als vergleichbare Spangen. Diese sind meistens schon nach kurzer Zeit gebrochen.Sehr empfehlenswert.

I love these clips/claws. I first found these in the US but not in Canada. I’m thrilled to have found them here. They are fantastic!! They hold tons of hair & have non-slip grippies under the claws for extra hold. I have really long hair past my waist & these clips give me really tight, all day hold. There are practically no hair clips besides this type of octopus claw that’ll do that. Great value for the money since you get 4.One thing to note though is that the listing says color may vary but the manufacturer only made them in tortoise. That’s fine by me but it should be noted. Very pleased!
