Love this thing
Love this watch. With my 7.4″ wrist, it is an excellent match. The trending giant oversized watch thing is just not for me. This bad boy is sleek and sophisticated which looks good for any occasion without looking ostentatious and juvenile. Has a decent heft and quality feel. The polish is off the charts. The clasp works perfectly w/o a whole lot of hair pulling & adjusts well. Without nerding out, it keeps time plenty well enough for me to not even notice. All the controls are solid and function smoothly. Perfect.

Not Worth the Money
This watch after 2 months was losing 10 minutes an hour. After spending another $180 to get it fixed it still stops randomly even when I have been wearing it for days.

The watch was a new piece – official Seiko product and Dec 2020 import but there were quality issues:-The date cyclops was not aligned in center but tilted towards bottom-There are gaps between the lugs and case which should not be in a watch of this price (see video)The watch despite being Made in Japan and from Seiko’s prospex range had such imperfections which is surprising! Also even if all things were fine, this new Alpinist is not worth the hype in general.
