We are amazed at how easy this was to setup and is just as easy to maintain.It protects against smell, the cats love it, and it’s great being alerted whenever it’s in use. The technology keeps the litter tray clean at all times, so our cats don’t step through their own waste or carry it on their paws once they exit.The app is excellent, too. It gives us excellent and useful information about when each cat is using it (it uses each cat’s weight to know which cat it is), trends on their weight, usage, and how much time they’re spending in the box.It even has a night light we can turn off or on with the app, which is great because the cats sleep in the dark in their own space in our home.Overall, this is an amazing feat of engineering and it’s all designed for intuitive simplicity. So this is my second automatic litter box. My other one that I’ve bought on Amazon started to malfunction after 8 months of use. It also had a door and a combing mechanism which in hindsight was very hazardous to my 10 year old baby.I bought this one and it’s been an absolute breeze. First off the aesthetic of it is very nice, modern, totally fits the theme of my living room. Before I even plugged it in my cat was already inside peeing. The app is also nice, easy to understand, and I love that it gives me updates on my cat’s weight. I also love how quiet this machine is, it doesn’t startle my cat at all nor does it disturb me while sleeping. I can’t smell anything yet since it’s only been 1 day of use but hopefully it stays that way at day 5. The bags that come with this are pretty big so I’m assuming for 1 cat it should last for a week.Overall I love this machine. I hope it lasts. And I will be updating this review periodically rather it’s good or bad. As you can see in the photo my cats been sitting and watching for it to rotate lol I guess he likes it, too.UPDATE:So since it’s almost been a month I’ve got to rave about this machine. It’s been almost too perfect and just a very great investment!! I went on vacation for a week and I had my friend check in on my buddy and they didn’t have to change the bag out at all. It actually ended up lasting about a week and a half!My cat feels fully comfortable using it but it’s also become his new activity to watch it clean lol He’s completely fascinated by it, more so than this old litter box.I’ve had zero issues so far and hopefully it stays that way!3 MONTH UPDATE:So, now I have two cats and this machine is still the best thing I bought this year. It still functions the same as it did on day 1, no malfunctions. I’m contemplating buying an additional one in the future but for now this one will do. If you’re on the fence, get it—trust me!

This automatic litter box looks great and works really well. At first, my cat took a few days to get used to it, but now it’s totally fine. The self-cleaning feature saves me so much time—I don’t have to scoop every day, which is a huge relief! The design is modern and fits in nicely with my home. The best part is the odor control. This is a pretty large automatic litter box, so be sure you have the room and a place to plug it in. Here are my pros and cons with this unit.PROS* I have 2 large cats who have no problems using this box.* We change the large bag once a week.* We’ve not noticed ANY smells.* The bags are super easy to remove and replace.* They give you a decent supply of bags, but once you run out, you can actually use plastic grocery bags,* The operation of the unit is pretty quiet.* The cat sensor stops the unit from rotating if something gets too close or goes in while it is cleaning.* The app is easy to use.* The app provides choices in functionality, ie, scheduled cleaning, telling it how long to wait to clean after your cat uses it, and others.CONS* The unit is very large.* It is also pretty heavy to move when cleaning.* Cleaning the inside of the barrel is challenging.* The sifter does not always catch the smaller clumps of cat poop.Overall, I highly recommend this cat box. It is pricey, however, it has virtually eliminated the need to scoop the cat box out daily (which is super handy if you are going away for a couple days), and there is no smell at all.

The app provided troubleshooting so it took one minute to know the problem and resolve.Some other things I like about this box.Our cat took to it immediately, fit well in it despite being a larger cat.Litter tracking is low.The always on light makes it easy for our cat at night when the lights are out.Its much cheaper than some of the other automated boxes on the market, but I dont know what else I would ask for outside what the FurryTail provides.I like the weight tracking as our cat got sick and it was helpful to monitor how he was doing during his recovery.So all in all, this has made our life easier, the cat likes it, and it works without much maintenance, which was the entire goal of making this purchase.
