These are really pretty blank books.The graphics on the covers are lovely, I can’t think of any young lady who wouldn’t enjoy them.The pages are crisp, bright white paper that is thick enough to prevent a lot of bleed through issues. The covers are smooth and have a matte finish. The bindings are tight and the pages cut straight.These would make great journals or would be a decent size for a sketch book.The books are heavy. I think they are surprisingly heavy, it is somehow impressive.The only issue with these is that they were shipped shrink wrapped. The shrink wrapping was really nice thick shrink wrapping which could withstand a lot of motion. They could be easily wrapped in the bundle and there would be no risk of them slipping apart while the wrap splits like it might with flimsier shrink wrap. The books REALLY needed something to protect the corners. I ordered another set which came in a corrugated box that fit snuggly around the books they arrived in pristine condition. These jiggled around in the Amazon box and were damaged. Of the three bundled together, only the middle book arrived undamaged. One had slightly bent corners, but the other was severely damaged. The spine, and back cover were crushed like they were dropped.You may be very happy with these if they can arrive safely; however, if you are not willing to gamble that they will arrive without being damaged you might want to try to find another option. This isn’t an issue that should be blamed on the shipping company or the Amazon fulfillment center because the product itself has not been properly considered by the manufacturer/seller. Such heavy books NEED their own protection whether it is corrugated corners or their own box.

Recording a legacy.
The books alone send a positive message just on their own. They do, however, have the potential to be something that is passed down through generations. It will take dedication, but I am putting ideas and stories in them that I believe will be interesting and informative to generations in my family that come along behind me. The world is chaotic and busy and recording our lessons seems unimportant. I know I would have benefited from reading wisdom gained by my ancestors. These books are well made. They have tight bindings, and the pages are thick. If you find yourself wanting linesâ¦print out your prose, and glue them in. These are a unique annd creative items with great potential.
