The Smiry Luxury Chenille Bathroom Rug is a soft, thick, and plush bath mat that provides a cozy feel underfoot. It arrives nicely packaged and quickly expands to its full size upon opening. The shaggy texture adds a luxurious touch, and it does an excellent job of absorbing water as advertised.However, the size is smaller than it appears in photos, so be sure to check the dimensions (24×16 inches) before purchasing. While it works well as a bath mat, I wouldn’t recommend it as a shower runner because it is too soft and lacks the necessary length for that purpose.That being said, it is well-made, machine washable, and dries quickly, making it a great option for smaller bathrooms or as a secondary bath rug near a sink or tub. If you’re looking for something larger or firmer, you may want to consider another option, but for a small, absorbent, and ultra-soft rug, this one does the job well!It does have a grip under it, which will help with slip resistance. It’s not very sticky, but I haven’t yet washed it so I don’t know how it will hold up because typically in my experience when it has that’s the persistent lining in the back it tends to deteriorate after washing so many times

Bought 2 of them and they’re comfortable and nice, and not slippery. Look perfect in the bathroom. They’re not super “thick” but they’re comfortable and easy on the feet, and the price is good.

Feels bumpy underfoot, and slides on the floor
On the plus side, the color is nice, and the rug seems to be durable so far. Now the negatives: From the pictures, I expected this rug to feel soft and cushy underfoot. It doesn’t. It feels lumpy and bumpy under my bare feet. Of more concern, this rug slides easily on the floor. I don’t feel that it’s dangerously slippery, but it moves along the floor with very little effort on my part. This is the first bath rug I’ve ever owned that has almost no slip resistance.
