Great lens
The problem I had with my last lens is that the picture quality wasnât nearly as good as the video quality. This lens does both great! Great value for what I was looking for, best $200 Iâve spent in a while.

Image Quality
The Lens came in Sony Packaging, no flaws or defects, and had perfect image quality out of the box. Really good lens to pick up for a medium range Telephoto. I used this on an a7 III – A full frame – and it still produced great photos. See attached. Lens felt light in the hand.

It seems good so far, but I’ve only had it a day and only used it a couple times, so time will tell. Packing for it was sub par, as it was only wrapped in one layer of the small bubble wrap and in a box, which isn’t much protection for it at all, as the Amazon delivery person tossed it on my front porch. Seems like everything is working on it so far. The price point is great though and it looks like new and seems like new so far.

Budget lens at a good price. works well. Came in great shape and packaged well. Sometimes buying refurbished items feels like a gamble. this one went really well for me.

The zoom is functional, but it’s difficult to get enough light in this lens to get clear images. Even with proper lighting conditions I find that the image quality isn’t very sharp, zoomed in or otherwise. An okay addition to my kit, but I don’t use it often because I have other lenses that are sharper that I can just crop to function as zoom.
