Great replacement
Dropped my Sony a6000 and lense would not focus/ attach. This replacement lense works perfect with no problems and was the most affordable option I could find. Great quality and value . Image is clear , zoom works as expected. No issues & would recommend.

Great little lens
Ordered this to replace the one I’ve been using since I this 16-50mm came out. (scratched the lens). Wonderful little lens for landscapes and typical family photos. EXCELLENT glass, and very lightweight and compact..could put the A6700 in my sling purse to carry without a problem.

So Far So Good
About 3 years ago I purchased the Sony A6000 camera kit that included this lens. Within the last year that lens was loosing communication with the camera body. Researching the fault, I discovered that the fault seems to be a common fault. Because it was more than a year after purchase (Out of Warranty), Sony wouldn’t offer any help other than have it repaired at a Sony repair center at a cost around $160. I contacted the seller here with a couple questions, as a result I purchased this lens. So far the lens is working perfectly. Only time will tell if this lens will exhibit the same issue down the road. I like the lens a lot for indoor photos dealing with family functions and alike. I have had good luck with outdoor photos as well. I have seen some negative reviews about this lens, but I can’t confirm the issue of the reviewers. Remember that this isn’t a high end equivalent lens costing 7 times the price. It is a good all around lens for everyday photos. Oh yes…. It doesn’t have the one year Sony Warranty but the seller sells it with their one year warranty.

It Performs As Billed
I like this little lens. It’s compact, sturdy and lives up to its billing. The autofocus is above average. Clarity and color rendition are good and I do like the ease of manual focus. I will keep this lens to use when I want a small camera footprint. Also, I’ve used the image stabilization lightly and it worked…I have not tried it with serious movement. IMHO, it’s a good value and I do recommend it for what it offers.

Lo adquirí para reemplazar el lente que originalmente viene con el bundle de mi A6500 ya que sufrió un accidente y quedó inservible, aquí fue el lugar en donde lo encontré más barato, original y nuevo que en cualquier otro sitio o comercio, con una diferencia de entre 2 y 3 mil pesos. Funciona perfecto, incluso creo que hace menos ruido que el que tenía, quizá por el uso, no es reconstruido (refurbished o renewed) pero si viene en una caja blanca protegido con plástico de burbujas, no esperes la típica caja naranja o blanca con logos de SONY, el bundle kit que supuestamente incluye no es más que el paño de microfibra que se muestra en las imágenes, en cuanto a las tapas del lente, la frontal es original, la segunda es genérica, no dice SONY, para mi no fue ningún problema pero es bueno compartirlo en caso de que alguien lo considere importante.
