Great sound for a small size speaker.
Perfect. Small size speaker with great sound.I like that you can link a ton of these together and put them all over the house as act as little mini speakers in every room or in your office. Great!.They’re very portable they last long. They’re very well made. Charge up quickly and hold their charge for the whole day. That’s super functional with the app

Beefier and sturdier
I got the Anker Soundcore 3 after I accidentally left my old Soundcore 2 on the roof of my car and left work. Ooops! So I decided it was a good time to upgrade. I also wanted to get a new one that used the UCB-C ports since that’s what my phone also uses. Its nice having consistent ports across multiple devices so you aren’t juggling cables.The overall speaker is a bit bigger and sturdier feeling than the previous one. Sound wise I feel like it’s a bit better in the higher range frequencies. The Soundcore 2 was definitely more bass focused. Switching from my car’s speakers to the stereo I could always notice a cut of the high mids and mid frequencies. The Soundcore 3 has less of that. Its not the best sounding speaker ever, but it’s robust and gets the job done for a good price point. I’ll be sticking with Anker on these going forward!Overall I’m pretty happy with the new one. I also got in a lighter color to avoid last times little misshap! ^^;

Great sounding small Bluetooth speaker… when using the custom 9-band EQ in the Phone App
I bought the Soundcore 3 to replace my Tribit Maxsound Plus for use as a low volume kitchen-counter “background radio” playing Pandora all day long.Pandora has an outstanding algorithm for selecting relevant songs but for me, the sound has too much midrange and not enough deep bass or sparkling treble. It sounds more like AM radio, not very “Hi-Fi”.When using Pandora on an iPhone or iPad, there’s no way to EQ the sound … why I cannot more highly recommend all recent Soundcore speakers and earbuds compatible with their free phone app which has a “game changer” custom 9-band EQ.Here’s a link to my 2021 review of the larger Soundcore Motion Boom (still one of the best outdoor speakers) with an explanation of how to install the phone app and adjust the custom EQhttps://www.amazon.com/review/R2U6B0N78540QJ/(copy and paste the above URL into a web browser address bar)Using the V-shaped custom EQ on the smaller Soundcore 3 transforms the sound of Pandora when played at low to medium “background” settings: smooth, easy to listen to, deep bass and detailed treble. By comparison the Tribit Maxsound Plus playing Pandora has blary midrange and for me is unlistenable (Tribit does sound good on Spotify when using it’s custom EQ setting found in their phone app as follows: Profile > Settings and privacy > Playback > Equalizer > create a V shaped curve as shown in my Motion Boom review)Tips– if the volume is turned up high, the deep bass sliders (left side) of my custom EQ should be moved down to prevent distortion.– I recommend comparing the sound in the usual horizontal orientation vs a vertical “tower” orientation. In the corner of my kitchen, the sound is much better standing up vertical: deeper cleaner bass / smoother midrange / more detailed treble.I hope this is helpful.

He was professional, understandable, and offered me a solution – receive a new speaker to remedy my faulty one, without the need to return the one I purchased!I took him up on this offer as I believed my original unit was faulty. On Aug 2, 2022, Marvin notified me that the new speaker was ordered, and the next day (wow) it was delivered to my door.Lo and behold it arrived at 60% (again), and after ~2 hours of high-volume playback it had only dropped 10%. I continued to use it for the rest of the day and am happy to say this device has 24h battery life as advertised. The sound quality is just as good as the first one, so it really was just a battery issue.Thank you Anker for the wonderful customer support and quick resolution to my problem.——————————- END OF NEW REVIEW ———————————————————- START OF ORIGINAL REVIEW —————————I own the original Anker Soundcore (1st gen) and wanted to upgrade to the 3rd generation while it was on sale for $70 CAD. Item arrived on time and in typical high-quality Anker packaging. Removed device from box and bag to find a few smudges around the speaker but I didn’t think much of it.Connected seamlessly to my phone (the speaker was at 60% when it arrived), downloaded the Soundcore app to play with the EQ settings, and listened to music for around an hour and a half. Before I knew it the music stopped and Bluetooth disconnected, I thought something was up with my phone but I realized the speaker had turned off (it was dead!).The battery drained from 60 to 0 in ~ 90minutes of mid-volume listening. My Soundcore 1 would last significantly longer than this despite its age. Although both devices are rated for 24 hours of playback, clearly that is not the case with the product in my hands. The next day (today) I charged it to 100% and played music at a low volume in the background while I worked. Battery duration was around 5 hours.——- TLDR ——-PROS: Speaker build and sound quality blow the original Soundcore out of the water. Having the app to customize your EQ profile is a great plus as well. Comes with USB-C charging cable and heavy-duty nylon strap to loop into the built-in holes.CONS: Unacceptable battery life, my suspicions are either from a used unit (hence the smudges/fingerprints when opening), or just a faulty battery. @Anker, please let me know what’s going on!————————— END OF ORIGINAL REVIEW —————————

Pequeño, ligero, pero ojo, potente y con un sonido genial. Con la APP Soundcore lo ecualizas a tu gusto y funciona de maravilla. Empareja rápido, la batería dura bastante y suena muy bien, más que suficiente para una habitación de tamaño normal. Lo recomiendo sin duda.
