Does everything it should.
This handy little USB extender does everything I want and is reliable. What’s not to like? I bought a second one — I use one for a gaming PC, and one for my gaming/travel laptop (usually when I travel and have it setup with a full keyboard and monitor).

Excellent build, perfect port choices
I have a Macbook Pro 2021 and Dell U3011 monitor – the monitor requires a displayport or DVI connection for max resolution, cannot use HDMI. This adapter is perfect – provides the MiniDisplayport I need, all 3 USB-A ports are high speed 10G (not a mix of crap 2.0/3.0), and it’s built for durability, assembled with precision. This was the only hub I was able to find with a miniDisplayport, and not full of ports I don’t need (sd card reader, ethernet, usb 2.0, etc). It provides just what I’m missing from my Macbook and at top quality.

Perfect for android mobile or smartphone gaming to external monitor.
If you ever found yourself tired soaring and wrist injury of gaming on a smartphone or tablet and wish to play with your favorite games on TV this is a perfect companion for that, no latency lag experienced even for a trained eye who know what I mean .. tested endless hours playtime while powered via PD Port to HOST-C to my Sony Xperia 1iii – playing all day with Diablo Immortal (android version) + 8bitdo Game controller…very smooth and satisfied (note: @ 1920 x 1200 @60hz – this is the down sized resolution that my Sony native 4k translate to my Dell 4k Monitor due to 19:9 screen ratio, every smart devices outputs differently)Pros:PD InHost USB-C (the short USB-C cable where most remaining power is sent to charge your host system such as smart device / specific laptops that accepts PD charge protocol)1x USB-C 10gbps (next to PD in)3x USB-A 3.x capable of up to 10Gbps, one of the. USB A-can support charging smart devices.HDMI / mDP (both uses ALT Display Protocol No Lag)Cos:No built-in Ethernet (not a show stopper for my specific needs)Over pricedWhat is PD for newbies:DELL Laptop scenario (maybe others too), Dell system will likely report weak charge source through USB-C PD, this is by design and annoying. But it more likely will work and maintain functionalitY, it just won’t charge as fast as regular dc plug-in source of charge, recommend toWindows 10/11:you may experience windows alerts about external display performance issues when you hot plug it in to your laptop or PC, just turn that alert off (search the internet), nothing to do with this brand specific, but annoying things Microsoft OS do in general.

For Apple vintage display with mini display port (mDP)
After much searching, finally found an adapter that works and that does not have horrible reviews.I did not have to download any drivers and I am currently using my M2 Max MacBook Pro without issue.I can’t speak about durability, but the adapter feels sturdy and not cheaply made.

Apple Cinema Screen Compatible
Love this! After searching online, plus seeking assistance at a big box electronics store and trying numerous options, this was FINALLY the solution to connect my older, beloved Apple Cinema Screen to a MacBook with only one USB-C port. Now I have the screen PLUS regular USB ports. Unfortunately the camera does not work, as that requires a single direct connection, but I’m ok with that.

Great brand
This is a great peripheral to have. It’s big enough that I have enough slots, and small enough that it makes it easy to travel with.

Slim and Versatile
All ports work as intended. I like the slim design, it’s easier to hide behind a vesa Mount that’s holding my laptop, with the cord being long enough as well. Very well designed. If it meets the needs you have for the ports, well worth it.

It’s the best USBC hub on the market in 2023. 10gbit (USB 3.2) and Displayport connector are both exceedingly rare, almost unique. The Displayport connector supports exactly 4k at 60Hz and not any higher display bandwidth than that. The hub actively drives the Power Delivery negotiation with the host. It has a fixed calculation of energy allocation for the USB peripherals connected to the hub. The PD negotiation gives the total power minus that allocation to the host.

While I does show the display, its biggest issue is that it does not charge 100w as when I was having a Zoom call it didn’t charge the laptop fast enough so I actually used more battery that it could charge! It was connected through the normal USB C charger that came with my MacBook which should give plenty of power as the monitor is not fed through this.

Helps pair the Apple Cinema Display to new MacBook and steam deck with enough power to charge. Sweet

The mDP port over Thunderbolt works like a charm at 4k @ 60Hz, no driver needed. However it can’t charge a 65W laptop through the USB-C PD port in full speed charging mode, even if the load is well within the manufacturer specs (net 85W). Other than that, I had a minor glitch with the USB ports not working but apparently that’s related to the USB-C port on the host, switching to another port on the laptop solved it.
