It is hard to believe this hat is made of leaves from a tree.The color on this hat is a light beige/ Tan which is complimentary with many warm weather outfits, but I have it worn here during a beautiful spring day with a light sweater & jeans whichI think adds a more casual laid back vibe to my outfit.The hat adorns a wide brim which I find is ideal in sunny weather. It helps block the sunFrom my face which is always important to avoid premature aging, wrinkles and sun spots.It is obviously hand crafted and in my opinion very well down. I have brought my share of hats on travel and I must say the quality and workmanship on this one is very good.It offers an interior sweatband which is a perfect extra to avoid getting makeup on theHat itself. I would have liked it better if the band was removable so I can easily throw itIn the wash or hand wash myself if away on vacation. Nevertheless it does absorb theSweat and avoid transfer to the hat.The vibe of the hat is extremely minimalistic, bu the added black band added a neededCompliment and contrast to it. There is a tiny spot on the hat where the band appears toNot have been flattened out correctly, it could be a an error made in rush.It offers breathability and coverage from the hot sun rays. It is packable for travelHad ZERO smell to it and better when kept out of the rain , water and direct sunlightFor long periods of time.The seller has provided care instructions under the “About this item” sectionClean the sun hat with gentle soap and soft cloth remove the dirt or grime from the natural raffia . I live in the tropics and I’m in the sun for some hours a day, specifically in my garden. Also in the summer I like to go to the beach or to the mountains, which means that I will be under the sun more hours.This hat is similar to other hats from famous brands than I have, and I can say that this one is of good quality and affordable.It came well protected in a big package and the hat is over a hard plastic mold in the same shape. This one I will keep for when I have to storage the hat in my closet.It’s made of a vegetative material with a black linen in a simple decoration. It’s lightweight and seem durable. Seams are well stitched. Has an elastic band to fit the head, and it’s flexible. The color is very tropical and can pair with many wardrobe. In case of contact with water, which it will happen when in the beach, it can be easily hand washed with a mild soap, then, I think I will put it in the plastic mold and let it to air dry.I used it in my garden for several hours and in my experience it kept the sun out of my face and the back of my neck. It was comfortable and I didn’t sweat like other times that I use other caps and feel the sun in my skin. It was a windy day and I had to be careful and from time to time secure the hat in my head, but that doesn’t bothered me.I’m glad I ordered this hat which I like a lot. I do recommended it.

Beautiful and natural, but quite snug
This straw hat is beautiful! It comes packaged with a firm plastic form under it to prevent it from getting deformed. It smells like it is made from natural fibers. I do love the look of this hat- the brim is not too wide and not too floppy, but it provides decent sun coverage and is not totally stiff. My only complaint is that the sizing seems to be a bit off. I got the med/large and I feel like it is quite snug on my average size head. Maybe it will stretch over time? Not a deal breaker, but just something to be aware of if you have a large head. I do also think the price of nearly $60 is pretty high considering you can find similar (though not necessarily this level of quality) hats for under $20.

Quality Hat
You can immediately tell that this is a quality hat from the moment it arrives. First it comes in a big box whereas most hats from Amazon come rolled up in a small box or a plastic mailer. Then when you open it there is a hard plastic shaper inside the hat to make sure it doesn’t get smashed during shipping which I appreciate. I was recently told I have to cover up in the sun to avoid triggering an autoimmune disease I’ve acquired (and lucky me lives in New Mexico) so hats are now a necessity.The hat fits what I consider my average sized head nicely and gives good coverage. It seems well made of raffia and isn’t flimsy like something you’d buy at a tourist trap at the beach. I think it would be easy to shape to the way you want and hopefully it lasts long. I usually update my reviews if needed if anything changes and will make sure to with this as well.

Great Quality; Awesome Functionality!
So I have decided to start building up my hat collection again, and I wanted a nice sun hat that I could where to the beach, or out to the outlet malls shopping on a bright, sunny day and I came across this gem! The hat is very well put together, fits my head great and does a phenomenal job both blocking the sun, but catching a nice, cool breeze as well! I’ve never owned a straw, sun hat before, so I was not sure what to expect, but I have been pleasantly surprised and very satisfied with the quality of material, the design and the great functionality! Definitely a great find!

This is an exceptional hat! Never owned one that’s this high quality before and I’m in love! It came with a plastic insert to ensure no damage during shipping or storage In the closet, I appreciate that. The material is great and comfortable to wear. It’s breezy while still providing plenty of protection from the sun. Anyone could wear this hat, male, female, elder or teenager. It’ll look great on the beach, in a restaurant or a bar or even just a stroll in the neighborhood. I feel so stylish wearing it and I’m very impressed!

Poorly stored
I was excited about this hat, but It’s very flimsy and the brim arrived bent, tried to smooth it out but it won’t form into the correct shape, one side just is bent downward. It’s unwearable.
