Lights worked perfectly
Love the lights and they look wonderful. However, I would suggest instead of ordering one string of 800 lights that you order several smaller strings to equal what you need. This will save you so much time of untangling this length of lights every 15 minutes while installing. Trust me, I know. It took me 3.5 hours to install, rather than an hour. My fault for not thinking ahead. But long story short, these lights are awesome!

lots of space between the lights, don’t love the flashing settings, but they’re cute.
lights are spaced out more than i’d like, so it doesn’t look like a whole lot of lights on my tree. I have a 6′ tall thin tree so it looks ok, but not what i’d hoped. But since the lights are LEDs they don’t get hot so i can leave the tree on more. I don’t love the twinkle/flash settings. I’d hoped for a nice slow twinkle, but they’re very strobe-y.

Lights are smaller than I anticipated
I bought these thinking that they were going to be standard sized LED lights, the ones that are flat, as large in diameter as the old-style lights. These are not. They’re micro-sized lights. There’s still 300 (I assume, I didn’t take the time to actually count them all) of them, they’re just small. I like that they’re 100 ft (again, didn’t measure) and can wind themselves around a 7-8 foot tree enough to cover the whole thing. Maybe if I was better at counting and measuring, I would be able to calculate how much lighting I’d need for said tree, but for now I am hoping 100ft is enough.

Bright lights, black wires, and yellow
I’m amending my original review shown below. I’m knocking another star off my review because I don’t have anything good to say about them. After finally getting these on my tree, I stood back to look at it. I was appalled. The thin black wires (yes, they are black and not dark green) stood out against the lights. It looked like a road map. But the worst was the color. They were an ugly yellow and the glow against the wall looked like mustard. It gave a cold, industrial feel. I thought I might live with it, but I couldn’t. The next morning I undecorated the tree, took the ornaments off, and put different lights on it which were much better. The picture shows the replacement lights on the left, and these LEDs on the right.*** ORIGINAL REVIEW *** So I got these lights today and opened them so I could put them on my Christmas tree. Surprise! They were a tangled mess. Somehow someone had the bright idea to wind the lights at each end simultaneously. What a mess! It was nearly impossible to untangle them. If I hadn’t needed them today, they would have gone back. It took over an hour to untangle four strings. If you want an exercise in frustration, go ahead. As for me, never again!

I love everything about this light. I would buy again if I need to. It was the right shade I needed was just enough for the size tree I have, it was easy to up (did not tangle at all). But just make sure to check the size tree you have just in case you need to purchase 2 sets. I used only one. Sorry don’t know the tree size if I figure it out will do an update.
