As a full time van lifer, when my large power station went on the fritz, I needed a way to keep my phone charged without running my van or needing a plug. But I was less than thrilled with the last solar battery pack I bought a couple years ago.Enter this life saver! It holds a massive amount of power—I could fully charge my iPhone at least four times, or keep my lanterns on for hours and still play games on my phone with a full charge! The connected plugs work fine and seem sturdy, and I can use a wall plug or solar power to fill it up again.The only down side was minimal instructions, so it took a minute to figure out how to turn on the flashlight and the meanings of the lights, but that’s minor. I’m not sure yet if it supports through-charging—I’ll figure that out later.This product is sturdy and works great, and I’m asking Santa for another one—I scarcely need the power station except for high-wattage things like my computer!

Great for daily use
I am so pleased with the charger having all the necessary cables attached to the device, no longer do I have to worry about having the right cable with me when I need power the most! It is also really convenient to be able to charge the battery with the sun, I recently took it on a road trip and it met all my charging needs. Almost perfect charger…almost
I already have a high capacity solar power bank/charger but when I saw this at almost twice the capacity, I had to get it. It is ALMOST perfect. Not only can it be charged via the photoelectric panel on one side, charging can also take place via a female USB-C and and micro USB connector on one end. To round things out, there is also a short standard USB male connector for charging the charger as well.To charge other devices, there are three short hard-wired cables – a USB-C female, micro USB female and an apple-specific thing (useless to me). As a bonus, it also has a wireless charger. This is where I find the charger/power bank falls short. The wireless charger is fairly weak. I have a thin wraparound cover on my phone which I think is around 4mm thick. The charger will not work with the cover in place. If I take the cover off, the phone will charge. However, I’m not going to take the cover off and on to charge it. That defeats the scratch prevention purpose of the cover. For this reason I knocked one star off my review. If they were to revise the design to add another coil or do whatever to increase the magnetic strength, this would be a real kick-*** product!The charger also has two white high power LEDs for a flashlight. Sure, why not. It’s simple and handy. The flashlight can be set to either continuous, an SOS blink pattern, or a high rep rate attention-getter. The only thing is the button that controls all the functions needs to be pushed HARD to get it to engage. I get they don’t want it to inadvertently turn on and energize the wireless charger when it could become damaged, but they didn’t need to go to this extreme.Finally, there are four blue LEDs to gauge battery charge level and a red LED to let you know the unit is charging. They say you need to push the power button to enable charging. That’s probably just for the wireless part. If you use the cables attached to the unit or plug your own cable in, the unit begins charging immediately. And, with the USB-C cable at least, it will fast-charge your phone if so capable.One of the LEDs will shine green when the solar cells are actively charging the unit. I won’t be able to really give that function a test until summer hits and we have sunshine instead of snow!Increase the strength of the wireless charging coils and you will have yourself a 10 out of 5 charging system!

GREAT LITTLE CHARGER
I bought this little charger when the power goes out, especially during hurricane season. This works great. I think if you are a camper or travel this is a “must have” item. It charged well and I got more than 14 hours charge. I will write update if necessary.

Early days, but already broke loop for keychain
So far the most important aspects of this are working. It seems to charge in the sun while I’m walking and I love that the different cords are all attached and always with the base. I’ve had it for almost 2 weeks and I lived the idea of clipping it on top my back pack and charging it while I walk. The simplest little detail (the loop on the case that allows you to clip a ring on it (and therefore a caribeaner) has broken. This leads me to be a little annoyed as there’s nothing else to use for this. Also I’m now concerned about the disability for the rest of the unit.
