Good Solar powered power bank
Battery life is as described. I used with iPhone, iPad, QRP ham radio, flashlight, and lantern. Works great if battery is charged. Charging battery with only solar cells take long time. Well designed and durable. Flashlight is adequately bright for normal uses Size is excellent—-about like a fat cellphone. USB ports may need an adapter for older iPhone or iPad as USB A and USB C ports need lightning adapter to work. Good price. Great quality and design. Recommended

Tranmix Solar Charger Power Bank
I purchased 2 of these solar power banks. One for my home and one for my travel trailer. I have used them on several occasions during a power outage to charge my phone, tablet, solar lights, weather radio and more. They work great, they charge pretty quickly and they are pretty powerful. Great product. Highly Recommend.

Still working after years
I’ve been using this on and off for about 3 years. What I like: It works! I use it for charging my phone when camping, traveling through an airport, train station or any place AC is at a premium. I also use it to power my LED booklight or do a supplemental charge of my phone when on my patio reading in the evening. It’s more convenient than grabbing the charger, cables, and extension cord for the AC.What I don’t like: It seems to take a long time to recharge, even when using a 60W charger. Charging by solar panels is a joke. Yes, it will charge with solar, but it takes at least two days of full sun and no use. I guess that’s better than nothing. Since I never expected to use the solar charger, this isn’t a problem for me. Had I intended for solar charging to be my main source AND it the battery pack was in heavy use, I would be sorely disappointed.I’m happy with the purchase. However, if I had to do it again I would purchase one without the solar charger option.

Great product
I have this with me everywhere. It has saved me on so many camping trips, or when I was too lazy to find a wall port. Definitely heavier than your average travel charger but this thing holds a lot of juice and it’s still light for how much power you get out of it. I love the solar component; slower than wall charging, of course, but it really does work when in direct sunlight! Used it for over a hundred charges and still going strong.

Durable, Waterproof, and Efficient
I bought this because I’ve been spending longer stints in the outdoors recently, and it’s been a trooper. One time I had depleted the battery, so I put in in the yard behind where I work. I forgot it, of course, and this little trooper stayed outside for the whole weekend. It sat in the grass in 90-100 degree weather for two straight days under extreme temperature fluctuations, daily sprinklers, and whatever else may have been thrown at it while I wasn’t there. The only consiquence of being soaked, nearly set on fire, and generally neglected was that the battery had charged to above 75%.One thing I have noticed is that, under direct light on a hot day, the battery will overheat and stop accepting a charge. After the battery has been sufficiently cooled, it starts accepting a charge again. Pretty good safety feature. I can’t imagine this is good for it in the long term, but I haven’t noticed any issues yet. After being charged to full by the sun, I got about 8 full charges on my galaxy note before it was depelted.Overall, this thing is damn impressive.

Unreliable therefore detrimental
I was really excited to use this product. I ordered it at the end of April and laid it in the sun for days to charge it. Of course I could have used an outlet at the time but I wanted to make sure it worked via the solar panels. I checked on it periodically until it reached full charge as shown by the blue lights on the side (and the green light means it’s charging). Once fully charged I plugged in my phone and my Fitbit to see how well they would charge. They did charge at first, but slower than other power banks I’ve used in the past, and the Fitbit even says it’s a weak power source. But it did it’s job and I was pleased to have this for my months long backpacking trip.A few weeks later I plugged my electronics in again and it was a bit spotty… it would say it was charging but then I’d check my phone a few minutes later and it had stopped charging. I double checked that everything was plugged in correctly, I even changed cables to see if that was the problem. It should be able to charge items more than once per its own charge, but I laid it in the sun again for a few days and tried again. Things charged.I left for my trip over a week ago. The first night i was in an Airbnb so everything was charged there. 2nd night at a primitive campsite I charged up some items as well as kept the power bank charging in the sun. Next campsite I needed to charge again… and it wouldn’t. Plugging things in and unplugging them several times, sometimes it would ding and say charging but then it would stop 30 seconds later. Again, I had it open in the sun. It’s hard to tell in the photos but it shows the green solar charging light on and all the blue lights… it should have worked!! I also included a photo showing my Fitbit plugged in and yet not charging.I needed to get in contact with my family and my phone was down to 3% and my Fitbit to 5% the following day. Luckily I was at a canoe livery where they graciously charged my phone in their office while I went kayaking. But soon into this trip I’ll be at mostly primitive campsites and towns will be few and far between. This charger was supposed to give me peace of mind that I’d always be able to charge up my phone no matter where I was. That is not the case. It’s too late to return, so I had to eat that cost and purchase an Anker power bank instead. Even though it isn’t solar hopefully it will provide power during the stretches between places I can charge it traditionally.

Great product
We have had this for 3 years now. Works great to charge phones and other small items off of. The solar panel will charge the battery. How fast and how much all depends on the sunlight. I do feel that the connection between the panel and the battery feels a little fragile . But we have it for 3 years and haven’t had any issues.

I use this solar charger while camping to keep my phone and camera battery charged and it works beautifully. I’ve been using for about two years and haven’t had any issues. I am open in areas where there are no services and, although I’m car camping most of the time, don’t want to risk draining my battery or having to run my car if I don’t need to. Also works well for backpacking in the mountains. Convenient size and not overly heavy.

Heavy but Realiable. Although, as far as my experience goes, It’s just a bit tricky to get charged if solar panels aren’t exposed to full-sun; might do well outdoors but haven’t really tried nor had the need to do that yet. Charging via outlet works well. 👍🏼

I bought these for me and my wife we both have multiple devices that need charging. I have tested each one every charging my cell phone and tablet. The battery capacity is huge and I didn’t count the number of charges but each unit lasted me about 4 days. Solar charging is so about less than one bar for each day In full sun. Charging via usb is much faster and the unit does charge overnight.I am returning one until as one of the USBA ports is damaged and will not charge any device with any cable.

We purchased this product for emergency use, but used it while camping with no power to charge electronics. Worked very well. Recommend it to anyone. Charged well in the light and charged electronics well too.

Was very impressed with this power bank!I totally drained it while I was watching movies on my tablet in my tent camping an fell asleep with it plugged in lol. In the morning I clipped to the top of my tent all day and by the night time it was up to 3 bars! Which is pretty good to me.Next day I used it to charge my phone and my vape at the same time on a nice sunny day, I was able to get 78% on my iPhone 7 Plus and 100% on my vape in about 2hrs and still have 3 bars on the solar bank charging in the sun at the same time. It’s great for charging small things such as phones, headphones, little Bluetooth speakers etc.it can charge tablets and laptops and other mid sized gadgets but keep in mind it’s just 25,000 mah battery. So if you have many devices or need more power you might want to look into something a little bit bigger with a solar panel kit like a Jackery or Rocksolar max pro solar package.Overall it’s a great item to have no matter if you’re camping or not for emergency where there’s no power and you need to charge your phone.
