Soft but not too hot
This takes forever to get warm on the highest setting. But my other heating blankets wouldn’t last after I washed them a few times which wasn’t often due to me being afraid they would stop working. Went with this brand and tan color cause it was cheap and offers a 5 year warranty. Hoping I won’t need to claim it and hoping it works better in the winter. I use these blankets to fall asleep so they are used alot! Even when it’s hot outside.

Cheapest product ever
Wow. I don’t even know where to start. I have been buying off Amazon since their inception, and have never written a negative review. In fact, I have little time for reviews but I feel I must warn everyone, and maybe the manufacturer, of this ghastly product. First, I will say I have had over half a dozen heated throws over the years. The control is always in the same place, and they all only last a couple of years. My word of advice is to try to keep the cord as straight as possible. Once they start get twisted up, the electrical wiring inside the housing will short out. It’s inevitable. And, the size is a standard throw size. All that being said, this particular model is the worst heated throw I’ve ever had. The cord, control, material, is garbage. There is no flexibility in the cord, so I’m not surprised it would short out in a month. The control is the cheapest plastic, and I have no idea how anyone could think that would suffice. I’m not even sure how it could pass any type of control for fire protection. The sherpa is nice and soft, but the “faux mink” is paper thin and I feels like some kind of soft plastic sheet almost. You can feel the hard, stiff wires that heat the throw. As I’ve said, I’ve had many over the past 15 years and I’ve never felt the heating wires like this before. The fact that this is probably made in China for less than $2 and sold by Sunbeam for $40 here blows my mind. I’d say it’s worth $5-10. I returning it a mere hours after opening it (something I never bother to do even if I dislike a product), and bought a Beautyrest oversized reversible “berber” (ie. sherpa) and it is pure luxury. $63 but you will be soooo glad you did. Oversized, luxurious , quality materials and you can’t feel the heating wires. I can’t express how much difference there is in the quality. Totally worth it.

J’ai longtemps hésité à acheter ce genre de couverture. On a tous tellement entendu d’histoires de combustion spontanées, ou d’autres problèmes de couvertures chauffantes… mais, à un moment donné, faut faire sa propre opinion ! Donc, j’ai acheté cette couverture d’une marque tout de même reconnue.POURS :- Ça chauffe TRÈS bien ! Même au plus bas, on sent la chaleurs en moins d’une minute. Bref, cela fait ce pour quoi on l’achète.- Taille parfaite. Je peux couvrir une bonne moitié de mon lit double et le faire chauffer avant de me coucher… malgré les épaisseurs de duvet, cela chauffe le lit sans problème.- Le fil électrique est assez long, cela devrait convenir à la plupart.CONTRES :- Rien, pour le moment.Conclusion :Lors de nos hivers rigoureux, plutôt que de monter le chauffage, cette couverture chauffante suffira à vous tenir bien au chaud.

This blanket has 4 heat settings, but a 2 or 3 is already nice and toasty. Very useful in frigid nights!

I need a heated blanket but my past history is not great. However, I usually get about 3 to 6 months out of a sunbeam blanket. I use them every day so it can get expensive. I need a “heated blankst of the month club”. Treat it carefully!
