Weatherproof ETFE exterior layer improves performance and durability, extends the panel’s lifespan, and requires less maintenance when compared to the PET exterior construction used by most portable solar chargers. The USB ports are waterproof rated IP67 – the printed circuit board (PCB) is coated with a waterproof seal and the junction box is silicone bonded to the panel. Designed for all weather conditions and environments – waterproof, shock-proof and drop-proof.
Portable folding solar panel. Compact panels fold down to the size of a tablet and easily fit into any backpack. Integrated magnetic closure system keeps the panels closed during storage, eliminating the need for bulky straps. The pocket provides storage space for most electronics and accessories, and the mesh design intuitively allows proper airflow to prevent devices from overheating while being charged. The elastic straps secure phones, power banks and more during storage and transportation.
Powerful and fast charging speeds. Monocrystalline panels with ETFE construction provide maximum efficiency and UV-ray permeability. Dual USB ports allow you to charge both USB-A and Type-C devices. USB-A port (5V/3A) and USB-C port (5V/3A) each pump out up to 3 amps of power (25W total maximum output) to provide wall-outlet charging speeds. ETFE construction has a UV permeability of 95% compared to 80% from PET – makes the panel more efficient than other solar chargers.
Smart Technology. Built-in smart IC chip intelligently identifies your device and provides the quickest, yet safest, charging speed. Short circuit, over-load, over-heat, over-charge, over-voltage, over-current and current limiting protection. Automatic restore if shade occurs.

Incredible. Worth every penny.
I am so beyond happy with the SunJack 25W solar charger. My backpacking and camping days are long gone. I live in California, where the idea to deal with fires is to turn off the power. So how to get power for my cell phone and tablet? This was my answer. The first time I used it, it was a really hot, sunny day. Took about an hour to charge the battery pack. I have been able to fully charge my phone at least six times from the battery pack before having to charge the battery pack again. And, it charges my phone faster than when I plug it into an electrical outlet. I have an old, wrought iron, bird bath base, and I clipped the SunJack to it, using the included carabiner clips. Because the stand is round, it’s really easy to turn the SunJack to follow the sun. But on a really sunny day, you won’t need to have it out for long. It’s fast. And I can see how easy it would be to use it if I were camping or backpacking. Great product!

I love Sun Jack’s products
I still have my original SunJack 25 watt solar charger from 2014 (had to get a new battery, but the charger still works). The only problem with the 2014 model is that I have used it so much that the fabric is falling apart. This new 25 watt charger has 1 less panel (3 rather than 4) and less fabric, making it lighter and less likely to be damaged by the sun. However, the fact that it’s falling apart from sun damage tells you just how much I have used it. It’s easy to use, and I like that I can charge my small devices either directly with the solar charger or later with the battery.

Best backpackers, solar panel money can buy!
I can’t find a single flaw with this purchase. I have nothing but good things to say about this solar panel. This is the best investment I have made it worked flawlessly and even though it’s under powered for MacBook Pro’s, it will charge your MacBook Pro 2019. I am seriously considering buying the larger more powerful version from the same company of this backpack or solar panel. That’s how well it works. You can’t go wrong.

I am very pleased with the construction of this solar panel. and the two power banks that come with it are great (about the size of my cell phone). the only thing i have to say is that the mesh pocket is a little too short to plug in the power bank or phone and zip closed while secured in the elastic strap. it’s no big deal since you just have to leave it out of the strap and place it sideways in the mesh pocket. but it would be nice to be able to secure it in the strap as well. I love it and plan to use this at the part with my family !

The battery packs are ok
I don’t like that they supercharge, because I’m concerned that will damage my phone’s battery. I don’t know if they all do that because I haven’t used battery pack chargers before. That’s not why I lowered my rating from 5 stars.The reason for 3 / 5 is that the solar charger does not seem to work very well. I hung it in a window that was getting a lot of sun, but not a full day. I thought it should at least charge a little bit. After hanging there for a week or more, absolutely no charging happened at all. It might as well be a piece of cardboard. Now we’re in Nov and I doubt this could charge anything at all even outside and angled at the sun all day. I’ll test it again and see if I can get any juice at all under optimal conditions, but so far the solar panel feature is lame.

Solar power for the American Discovery Trail
I am starting out with 4 stars as the product just arrived. Shipping was quick and it seems to be exactly what we ordered. It doesn’t get a 5 start to start as there is not a way to seal or cover the junction box from getting wet. We will be taking this on the ADT so will update review as needed. I also got the two power banks. Charging them as I type.

Great Customer Service
SunJack gets an A++ from me, not just for having an awesome product, but for responsive, smart service. They were great in answering questions when I had trouble with charging, which were all operator error on my part, not the product. We love using it on our own boat and even took it to the Caribbean on vacation. Once the battery packs are powered, they charge our phones, kindle, spotlight, bluetooth speaker…everything really quickly!

I ordered this as a replacement to a previous Bunton foldable solar panel, which quit working. Husband took this up hunting up in the Yukon. He says it has been working well to charge his iPad his in reach and his cell phone would definitely recommend.
