Nice design
Hammock was easy to put up – ropes designed to clip the hammock to it’s support are nicely done. Was afraid I might not be able to put it back into the built in storage pouch (attached to the hammock itself) but was no problem putting it back in. Nice color, nice design

Loved It… At First.
Loved this hammock first time I used it. Worked perfect, comfortable, etc. My plan was to take it to the Boundary Waters in Northern Minnesota where you can have NO failures. Period. Second time I used it this week, set it up super fast, which I loved. The second I sat on it, it exploded. Something failed, and as it and I fell to the ground, it shredded. Ripped all the loops out of it, shredded the bug net. Hit the ground with a useless hammock. I couldn’t tell what part failed first because it was ALL of it. I give it two stars because IDK what it was that came apart first. And the rainfly. I cannot recommend this because I need to go way higher end for a hammock tent. I wouldn’t go with any less than 3× the price/quality, minimum in hindsight. Love the rainfly tarp though. That I’ll use a lot. Ah well. Back on the hunt for a tent.UPDATE: Sunyear reached out to me after my initial review and sent me a new hammock tent. Upon inspection of the new tent, I’m prerty sure I know where the first one failed. The short length of rope that attaches the hammock to the tree straps with the carabiner is NOT tied securely upon arrival. Saw it right away. Took the factory basic overhand knot out (which I assume was tied in it just real quick and easy in the manufacturing process, and not intended to hold any weight) and tied a double fisherman’s knot to make a closed loop instead, so now there’s no way it can come apart by accident. Set it up and I cannot see what happened to the first one happening again. 99% sure I fixed the issue. Inspect that attachment point thoughly and tie a better knot in that rope for sure on both ends. Should be specified that the knots need to be re-tied and tested before use. I got lucky and didn’t get hurt falling from it, but I should have noticed that the first time, so that’s kinda on me too.

Great Value Hammock!
This is a great value hammock. The included tree straps are quite long, 10 foot each, stitching appears to be done well, and over all, they look to be quite durable upon inspection. The fabric is nice and soft and the netting is not very obtrusive. The storage pouch hangs on the outside, big enough for a 32oz water bottle. On the inside, there is another smaller pocket for your phone, keys, etc. Thing to note, be sure to hang the straps about 6-7 feet up or so, as this should give you plenty of clearance for your head inside once you attach the 2 elastic ropes to the main loop at the head of the hammock straps. At the end, everything fit back in the pouch no problem. Overall, it’s a great value for a hammock, hard to beat for the price. Would recommend.

I honestly felt like this thing wasn’t going to support my weight. It did. I’m 136 pounds and 5’7″. Length is good. Once it loosens up where the straps attach to the hammock it stopped sounding like it was gonna rip off. I feel comfortable and supported in it.The only thing is how deep the hammock is. It heats up like a solar blanket so it’s usefulness is limited in warm weather. Were the screen larger and the hammock shallower like a typical cloth hammock there would be more airflow. The reason is that the other hammocks have a bar at each end so the fabric is pulled outward making it shallow. This is different. It comes up at each end where it attaches to the tree straps so when you climb in the sides come up as your weight sinks down and I feel a little like a burrito. I figured if I inch way up to near the attachment point I can pin the sides down. That works good for me so it’s fine.For what I paid I really am not complaining. I am very happy with it but wanted to be as detailed as possible.Also the straps are great! Love the many different lengths you can hook it in at. I actually put mine crazy high and had to make steps to get in it. I shouldn’t I know but I do swing in it. I know I shorten it’s life span by doing so but for the price I’m ok with it.

Excelente producto. Viene con todo lo necesario para utilizarlo, incluso el mosquitero trae los cordones ya instalados para extenderlo y que no te quede pegado en la cara y tienes una sensación de mayor amplitud.Es muy práctico, por que ocupa muy poco espacio y pesa muy poco.
