Total Game Changer
Truly, I had no idea a simple pillow could change my life!!! I’m typically a very light sleeper who tosses and turns all night in my elusive quest to find the cool side of the pillow. I got tired of waking up with a damp pillow from sweating during my sleep. When these arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at the really nice packaging and little attention to detail – things like a sewn-on colored fabric label indicating which side of the pillow had the cooling gel v. non-cooling gel. The pillows came vacuum sealed and fluffed up completely in about 30 minutes. The instructions stated that a slight smell was normal and to place the pillows in the sun or simply wait for 24 hours or so and the smell should dissipate. For me, the smell was gone within a few hours of leaving them in the sun and flipping them a few times. The pillows are very plush and I thought it might be too thick and leave a nasty pain the neck upon waking. The instructions state you can remove the memory foam filler inside the pillow in order to adjust the thickness of it to your desired height. I thought that’s what I would need to do, but decided to lie down on pillow before I made any adjustments. And WOW. Just WOW. The cooling gel wasn’t plasticky or lumpy or anything weird and it was an immediate “Ahhh” to my overheating noggin. Not only that, but the memory foam filler gently conformed to my head and neck and kept it aligned with my spine – not too high, not too low and I didn’t need to make any adjustments to the pillow filler at all. That first night, I put my head on the pillow and fell fast asleep. No tossing, no turning, the pillow maintained it’s coolness throughout the night and I woke up feeling more refreshed than I have in YEARS. Now after 2 weeks, I am sleeping throughout the night regularly and have more of a pep in my step because I’m actually getting truly restful sleep. I know it sounds silly, but this pillow has been a lifesaver, as poor sleep is linked to heart disease and overall higher stress levels. I cannot recommend this product enough!

Love this pillow
Pillow fluffed up just as directed. Pillow is very comfortable and has just the right cooling effect. I am very pleased with this pillow. I have no complaints about the smell at all. My pillows had no smell at all. I will continue to buy these pillows. I can’t see how anyone can complain about this product. I guess there are just those kind of people who are never satisfied. Love this product! Buy one

Cooling doesn’t last – disappointed
I purchased these pillows in October, and they were absolutely the best thing ever. I tend to get very hot at night, which often disrupts my sleep, but these pillows kept me cool and helped me sleep soundly without waking up multiple times. For the first few months, I was amazed at how effective they were. However, my only issue is that after washing them, they continued to maintain their cooling effect—at least for a while. Unfortunately, the cooling feature only lasted for about 3 months. Now, I’m back to struggling with overheating at night and having trouble getting a good night’s sleep. While the pillows were great initially, I was hoping the cooling effect would last longer.

My husband likes it but I wish they were firmer.

VERY comfortable pillow. I have neck issues and generally I am a side sleeper but occasionally sleep on my back. I have tried so many different types of pillows and fillings looking for that needle in a haystack that works for me. I think I found it in this pillow. First of all it’s adjustable. This is fantastic because it comes with a package of filling so that you can stuff it firmer, or take some out and make it softer. You just open the zipper and add or subtract as needed. It doesn’t get any easier than that to get just the right amount of filling to suit. Then to add a bonus it comes with it’s own cover with zipper. You slide the pillow in and this thick quilted cover has a soft jersey like side that is warm on one side, and a silky stay-cool side on the other. So whether you get too hot or like your head warm, you get your choice. And as if that wasn’t reason enough to get this pillow, the shape is awesome. The curved side is perfect as a side sleeper because the pillow comes down in the front and also in the back so you feel cradled in the pillow, and the curve lends itself to staying put better as a side sleeper. I used to wake during the night and squash and punch my pillow back into a shape that felt comfortable but no more. Less issues with my neck now. For back sleepers you can use the straight edge under your neck. The cover zips off and is thrown in the wash. Easy peasy. This pillow is adjustable for so many different people between the firmness, shape and choice of surface that it really is universal and will work for just about anyone. Definitely the most comfortable pillow I have owned to date. It all comes compressed so be sure to give it a good 24 hours to fully expand before adjusting the filling.
