Great gift for toddler.
Bought this for my 2-year-old son. He absolutely loves it, and it keeps him busy for “minutes”, haha! It’s very funny to watch him have a conversation with his parrot friend. One thing worth noting is that rechargeable batteries don’t seem to work as good in the device. Maybe my son uses it too much, but non-rechargeable batteries tend to last much longer. Overall, a great gift for a toddler!

Creepy parrot
I honestly missed the part in the description of this parrot that says it repeats what you say when you talk to it. I bought it just because it looked like a cute stuffed parrot for my toddler’s pirate costume. It’s good quality and looks just like the picture. But its voice is super creepy when it talks and made my son cry. Buy at your own risk.

It does mimic voices
The bottom flap that covers the battery chamber does not stay in place. It just hangs loose. The bird does mimic talking and the wings flap.

Battery doesn’t last long but so worth it
My son had hours of fun with this toy and would show it off whenever we had company. The battery doesn’t last very long but so worth it when it is working. The recorder plays back exactly what you said in a higher pitched funny tone that has us in stiches. super cool toy. STill use it today.

Looked cheap in its original packaging. Product felt like it was of poor quality (even for $20). Toy failed to move or make a sound despite fitting new Energizer batteries and flicking the switch off and on. Same result with new Eveready batteries. No instructions to refer to in case of user error (although I doubt this). I do not recommend this product.
