My 3rd Generation Purchase.PROS: I purchased this for my new iPhone 15 Pro Max because I had their case for my old iPhone 14 Pro Max and my old iPhone 13 Pro Max and I dropped my phone on all kinds of hards surfaces, in desert sand, dirt, and snow and it protected my phone well. I love that the buttons, charging port and the camera have covers.PRO: Another positive is that I almost daily wiped the cases down with 70% alcohol wipes and it caused no harm. I was even brave and wiped the bright neon orange strap and it didn’t bleed or discolor!CON: I wish the nice adjustable straps could be taken on and off without having to take the phone out of the case so I could swap colors. I appreciate that it came with two choices, one bold neon orange and one subtle in black with orange accents.CAMERA COVER SLIDE: iPhone 13 Pro Max was easy to open and close. The iPhone 14 Pro Max was challenging so I pretty much left it open. The iPhone 15 Pro Max has been REDESIGNED so that it is “one” piece that slides, which is easier, but now it sticks out a bit from the phone. (see picture)Not sure there is any other solution though, this allows it to not have two pieces that slide and makes it easier to open and shut. So far doesn’t seem to bother me like I thought it might. Can still put in my pockets easily when the window is open. At first I thought it would snag my clothing, but it doesn’t.Overall I continue to be impressed with Tech21.

Cumbersome to use
While this might be a nice sturdy case I am finding the cover for the lens very hard to open, end up taking pictures of nothing. Sorry the case is a miss for me

I am much happier with this than the Otterbox and the other colors of Tech21 of the same case.Why?This black-and-white version is much more gripper due to the black outline. The white magsafe lines on the back are beautiful.THE GRIP and buttons are the main reason I am keeping this and not the other color of tech21 of the same case and the Otterbox is slippery.Improvements:1. The bezel that protects the screen needs more depth for more protection.2. Needs to come with a Hollister for full-screen protection like the Otterbox.3. Orange is ok with the black but I wish there were options like red buttons. Black and red and the white back would be perfect.

Case offers good protection, doesnât add much bulk or width. Case weight comes up as 52 grams on my scale which is near enough what other high end cases weigh give or take a few grams. Buttons are all responsive and tactile, all cutouts precise, has usb c port cover to protect from dust and debris.Also sides are textured and back is slightly frosted so if you want to show off your phone colour it wonât be that visible.The gliding mechanism for camera is great as stops dust getting around the lenses. Overall I canât complain. For price range it offers more than most others from competitors.Wish they did more colours or a clear version.
