I got this for my kid’s overnight field trip. The padding seems to be adequate, and this was far and away the cheapest option. The “pump” feature was wildly oversold, though. To get air into it, you have to open the cap, then close the cap, then press the spongy area. It’s incredibly fiddly, and after five minutes of pumping, the mat was still basically flat. We gave up and inflated it by mouth from the deflate port.
