These are so easy to use if you just pay close attention to where and how you’re sticking the tool into the elastic. Those complaining that it cut their child’s hair obviously did not make sure they didn’t grab any hair with the pick. To make sure I don’t grab any hair, I insert the tool under a single loop of elastic, instead of cutting through all of them together because one cut is all you need to release it.
