Better than competitors
Ok, I’m going to be honest. I tried as hard as I could to NOT buy these for the longest time because I didn’t want to waste a single hair tie. But after years of struggling to get my daughter’s ties out of her hair, whilst she was complaining to no end and clearly not happy with me… I gave in. Not only did I buy this specific hair tie cutter (after lots of searching), but I happened to get another hair tie cutter from a different product that randomly included their own version it in their hair product set (I bought for that set for comb not the hair cutter). After receiving and trying both – this one is by far the superior product. It has a more quality feel (weight) and even design to it. I never imagined I’d now be the owner of multiple hair tie cutters, but I find myself so grateful these were created.

Lifesaver for Moms of Toddlers!
These are so easy to use if you just pay close attention to where and how you’re sticking the tool into the elastic. Those complaining that it cut their child’s hair obviously did not make sure they didn’t grab any hair with the pick. To make sure I don’t grab any hair, I insert the tool under a single loop of elastic, instead of cutting through all of them together because one cut is all you need to release it. I used to hate the idea of “wasting” so many elastics. Until I realized I’m still using the same pack of 1,000 from 17 years ago.
