Fits well and is comfy
I usually refer to myself as having a pinhead and always require a small hat or helmet so I was surprised when I measured my head and just barely got 21″ fitting within the size guidelines of this cap. I was still a little hesitant about the cap after reading reviews of people with small heads, but decided to try anyway especially with the free returns. I’m happy to say that the cap fit pretty well. Maybe a tiny big, but it’s so soft, it easily smooths down and shapes to my head. I love the pony tail flap! And the ear covers are so soft and warm. Keeping this and it’s just in time for the cold weather.

Can run small when folded.
Itâs a warm weâll made hat that totally covers my ears when rolled down. I use it for my outdoor water aerobics class. When the ear flaps are rolled up it seems small. I like it but it is a little pricey for what it is.

Love this cap. Well made. Fit is perfect (I used their sizing chart) And warm! Plus when you have the ear flap down it covers your ears with a snug no wind fit! Will recommend to my friends. Use it for doing barn chores and riding.

Exactly what I was looking for to stay warm and block the sun this winter.
I had a favorite winter hat that I wore around the barn. It had a visor and a fleece flap to pull down over my ears or fold up. It started feeling a little tight and left marks across my forehead. This hat seems to have a larger bill so my sun protection is better and the flaps fold down and cover all my ears and back of my neck perfectly. I haven’t had a chance to use it yet and hope the fit doesn’t leave marks on my forehead. I like the quilted front since it matches my coat.EDITED I wore it yesterday for a dog walk in 28 degree weather with a small breeze and it was very comfortable and warm. It’s a bit tricky to put on, trying to get all my ponytail and the rest of the hair to cooperate but once it’s on it stays snug and the fleece over the ears and around the back of the neck stays in place and I was never cold. The large bill does a terrific job of blocking out the bright sun. After wearing it for about 40 minutes there were no marks on my forehead when I took it off.

The picture shows it as a trucker hat style, but it would only hold that shape on a tiny head. I chuckle at the reviews that say its too big, which is crazy. Unless the manufacturer adjusted the product? So, unless you have a tiny head, it will look very awkward. Still a solid product for warmth and features. It’s nice to see headgear that doesn’t try to force an extra low ponytail. However, I did buy for the shape and look, which were misses.
