My extremely picky eater LOVES these wretched (healthy) treats.
It blows my mind that our dog loves these healthy treats. We are on auto delivery and have 2 big bags a month come. She gets @ 2-4 a day. These are the ONLY nutritional thing I can get her to eat. She refuses any and all dog foods I’ve tried, and even human food (meats) she can take it or leave it. She likes to steal the cats food bowl and hide outside under her tree and clean the bowl. For years I worried about her not getting her nutritional needs met, but I don’t anymore because I know she’s getting something good for her with the green tripe treats. Her coat shines in the sun, her eyes are clear and at 8 years old no bad breath, in-fact she still smells like a puppy. I couldn’t be more pleased that we found these awful smelling wretched but sooo healthy treats.

Good for dogs with zero appetite
I have a wonderful 7 yo mixed breed who suddenly developed renal failure. It comes with a complete lack of appetite and he won’t eat a thing. If I give him one of these, he will nose it for a while, then slowly start to chew it. Once he starts one, he will finish it! They stink to high Heaven but I don’t care as long as he’s getting some high quality protein (with benefits) into his little body. I know it’s not likely he will recover, but watching him starve is just not an option… I am grateful!

My dog says yes
These tripe sticks are large compared to most others and my dog seems to enjoy them. He is raw fed, but I just can’t do raw green tripe 🤢! So freeze dried is what he gets every day. At times, he was fed kibble at a kennel that didn’t listen to his feeding instructions. Since he has been on a regimen of a daily tripe stick, he hasn’t had any issues. This company seemed to step into the gap left when Barkworthy’s had the recall. Now if they would only drop their price to match what Barkworthy’s charged – these are 3x as pricey. But I’m willingly paying this to avoid daily messy poos and bathing my dog every time he goes!

READ FIRST!! I did not
I thought I was buying from a small company that cared about its product sourcing , small batches made and an overall healthy approach for pet owners. The lamb comes from Turkey 🇹🇷. How good can pet grade lamb Guts from half way across the world , be good and wholeheartedly nutritious. No animal guts available in midwestern area of the USA. I feel ripped off. The rawhide chews are from the Country of India. That’s crazy. Cow hides from India sent to the USA for dogs to chew on. No locally sourced cow by products available in the State of Indiana. No way I’m giving this to my dogs

They stink, but the dogs love them. NOT locally sourced.
I’ve been searching for something natural to give my dogs that won’t break teeth, but still help clean them. I stumbled onto a similar item and when I researched green tripe, I read that it also has added gut health benefits. So I settled on these to try. First off…they smell kinda like vomit. Flat out. I mean, it’s lamb stomach with some of the partially digested grass still attached. So that’s not unexpected. It’s not a spoiled/rotten smell. The dogs genuinely love them. So much that they’re the only treats I’ve seen them go to where I keep them and dance around asking for them. Plus, they had zero ill effects. Both of which is what really matters to me. So I just hold my breath at treat time. My only real gripe, and I know I won’t be alone, it that the label is one that totes “American Product” and using “ethically sourced, local products.” I’m sure they’re probably ethically sourced and natural with no preservatives and all the things. Except right on the label under country of origin it says, “Turkey.” I personally have nothing against it coming from Turkey other than the misrepresentation of the product. It’s a tad dishonest. The product itself is totally fine if you can handle the smell.

They LOVE the Stink
This was a big winner! All three dogs with varying tastes LOVE it. We will definitely purchase this again and again.I’m not someone who is easily bothered by scents, but this one … woo! If you are, keep in mind that the strong, pungent odor wafting up in your face upon opening the package may make you want to vomit. The STINK is STRONG, and THEY LOVE IT. Hahahaha!

No teeth tartar or plaque!
I have been feeding one stick of this product at the end of everyday to one of my two rescue dogs owned for 6 years and to the other owned for 3 years, and both have shiny white teeth with no tartar or plaque at all. As I don’t brush their teeth, and as I have never seen this before in my 6 previous dogs owned over many years, and though their diet was essentially the same except for feeding this product, I conclude that this product acts as a VERY EFFECTIVE TOOTHBRUSH. I used to clean all my earlier dogs, teeth regularly, but I have never seen results like this! Both of these dogs had clean teeth when they were adopted, so I don’t know if it can actually clean dirty teeth, but it sure seems to prevent dirty teeth!

Quality control issues…. Very inconsistent with sizing
To begin with, pet treats are ridiculously overpriced. When buying treats I expect the quality to be consistent. With these, sometimes you get 25 that are the size of a number two pencil, and at other times you get 25 that are the size of highlight markers. I would rather spend my money on the ones that are larger! How about instead of selling by quantity, you start selling by weight!! Paying for 25 of these that are the size of a pencil or a smaller is robbery!
