Plug and play right out of the box!
Best $100 spent. It works right out of the box without the need to download software or update firmware. USB ports are a little difficult to plug in. Works well with my Lenovo X13 and Dell XPS 9370. Support for dual monitor at 100hz depends on your graphic chip. For example, it works perfectly fine on my X13 with Intel Iris XE but not on my 9370 with Intel 620. Overall, this docking station is better than my Dell WD19 which only works for Dell laptops. Five stars âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸

Manufacturer says to not use over the 24inch cable that it comes with.
After further review i will give this 4 stars. The cable for usb-c video is required for proper connection to many laptop models but does work with HP.I some situations this is not long enough.

Great size for a portable dock!
I love this docking system, so far it has been great. It has a great size and is not too heavy, while still maintaining the ability to be a power source for computer and accessories. For me it has the right number of ports that I need to my computer set up, and it is easily able to be taken on the go if needed. I believe it to be a great product for the price and have been very happy with it. Its power cord is a decent length which does matter to me, so that is also a plus.

This is the best port expander I’ve seen for the Macbook Pro
My new job sent me a Macbook Pro to which I needed to connect a monitor, a mouse, wired Ethernet, a USB headset, and an external keyboard. None of these things has a USB-C connector, including the monitor and mouse, both of which were also sent from work. The Mac, of course, has only USB-C ports â and only four of them, and one is needed for its charging cord. There weren’t enough ports to connect everything even if the connector types had matched.This mini-dock was the solution. EVERYTHING that I needed to connect plugs into the mini-dock (with the assistance of one Type A to USB-C adapter), and then the mini-dock just plugs effortlessly into either side of the Macbook, connecting everything at once and leaving the ports on the other side open. (I think I can even route the charging connection through the dock, but I haven’t done so yet.) There was absolutely zero setup involved, it was completely plug and play. If there is a tidier solution for the Macbook, I don’t know what it is. If one of these doesn’t give you enough ports, you could just plug another one on the other side.Construction of the Selore mini-dock is excellent, everything feeling solid and secure, not a hint of flimsiness anywhere. It comes with a soft cloth pouch in case you need to carry it around with you. It’s compact and tidy, with no wasted space.Two Technical Thug thumbs up on this one. A great little product, at a great price for what it does. This is NOT just a simple USB port expander.

Good not Great â READ ME!!
I have the new 2020 MacBook Air and got the adapter with the Ethernet port.The Good:-You canât beat this price. Iâve scoured the seas and have not found a cheaper multi port adapter like this that is flush against your computer.-Buying this one thing is all the average person will need to feel secure in performing their daily computer tasks.The Bad:-As mentioned in the description and other comments you cannot have a case on with this adapter plugged in, it simply wonât work or give/get a connection.-This particular adapter has the names for each connection up side down. It doesnât seem to interfere (as of yet) but it bugs me internally that the names are upside down. From other posted review pics this doesnât seem to be a problem with the $15 adapter so maybe itâs just for the Ethernet port adapters that the labeling got put upside down.Please enjoy the many pics I posted, I wanted to be as clear and thorough with this review as possible because honestly Iâm still on the fence overall. I will update if functionality is compromised.

I use a MAC laptop for travel and as my home desktop. This is the sturdiest and most diverse dongle/adapter that I’ve ever had. My model of the MacBook Pro has ONLY 4 USB-C ports and so if I want to plug into my back external drive, plug in a ring light, plug in a headset mic and/or plug in my ethernet cable, this does it all but ONLY using 2 of the 4 USB-C ports. This frees up the connection and power space on my Thunderbolt monitor as well. It is very sturdy and I keep it in a pencil case when moving around campus between rooms and when I travel. I recommend to my education students who teach in multiple locations as well.
