Good standard USB C dock that performs well with multiple ports for most needs!
Since other reviews have already posted some nice photos of this USB C dock, I won’t be posting more. Having said that, now that my current work is hybrid and working from home a few days a week, I needed some way to connect my work notebook to my HDMI home monitors for better viewing and since I often work with several spreadsheets that a notebook display alone is difficult to view and navigate. As this USB C dock has two HDMI ports along with other types, I gave it a try and thus far, it has met my expectations. Connecting both HDMI monitors thru the HDMI ports was simple as well as connecting the notebook thru the USB C dock and similar the USB C power supply also to the dock. Upon turning on, I was easily able to expand my view across the two HDMI monitors and having no issues with how they displayed as the graphics and fonts were crisp and clear without any flickering or distortion. The USB C dock also has ports for some other devices like memory cards and USB drives but so far, I have not had a need to use them for extended periods but did try a USB thumb drive to transfer some files over and it was easily recognized and worked without any issues. Overall, a great USB C device that does what it’s advertised and designed to do.

works with ipad pros
Used this hub with both m2 and m4 ipad pros. Everything worked correctly. The usb cable could be a bit longer for easier usage. Iâd imagine the length wouldâve not been much of an issue for laptops on desk top.

Versatile addition to my mini PC
I have a compact desk set up where space needs to be maximized. While my mini PC is very compact & space friendly, most of the ports are on the back & hard to reach with my set up (the mini PC is under my monitor riser, along with most cables). This docking station can plug into the one USB-C port that’s actually at the front of the mini PC, giving me flexibility to easily plug in accessories I don’t use all the time when needed, without pulling out the mini PC from its happy resting place to reach the back ports. The build quality is solid, with metal casing, and the design is slim and compact. I like the variety of ports/memory card slots available & that you can use for charging/power supply. I have compact travel monitor I often keep plugged in for power because it’s much easier than reaching the wall outlet.

Great dock for PC and Mac!
Works great on my work PC laptop on days I work from home, and equally as nice on my personal MacBook Air. I just leave my work laptop’s USB-C power supply plugged into it normally and it doesn’t complain about moving between hardware types. Easy way to have a portable dock, without the full dock price!

Doesn’t work with all computers
Ordered this USB hub mostly for the extra USB ports, but when i plugged it in to my Dell Precision 3240 Compact desktop PC, it wasn’t recognized (although it did light up). Tried it on a laptop and the USB ports did work. I did not test the video ports but the company advised that to use the extra video ports, the computer must also be ALT DP compatible and not all computers are. Check your computer before buying this unit. Also the short (and stiff) non-removable USB3 cable limits where you can put this especially if you’re going to try to use it with a desktop PC.

Does what I need for Macbook Air
The two most recent Macbook Air generations have only two peripheral ports, both USB-C. This leaves those of us with a host of USB-A devices looking for solutions. The lack of an HDMI port is also an issue for those needing to feed an external monitor. This hub solves those problems, among others.I’ve tried USB-A to USB-C adapters, but both brands I’ve tried so far aren’t backward compatible with USB 2.x devices, for some odd reason, and I’ve still got a bunch of thumb drives that speak that language. Turns out that this device does! I also have a USB-A 3.x to Ethernet adapter I used with my old 2015 Macbook Pro that also works with this hub, so I can also connect directly to a router whenever I need to, which comes in handy when trying to diagnose WiFi issues.I live in a somewhat rural area and keep game cameras scattered around my property, and this hub reads both SD and microSD cards without a hitch. This also comes in handy when downloading dashcam footage from the camera’s card.I haven’t tried the PD function yet, so no comment on that. The only drawback I have with the device, hence the 4-star instead of 5-star rating, is that it has an integrated connecting cable. Once (or if) that cable bites the dust the hub will be rendered worthless. I’d find it much more versatile if the connecting cable were detachable so that it could be replaced it damaged and/or the user could choose a cable of the user’s preferred length.

Works With An iPad
This review is for the KOZYC 8-in-1 USB C Hub. It has ports for HDMI x 2, USB C 3.0 x 2, USB A 3.0 x 2, TF (Micro-SD) x 1, SD x 1 and a 100W PD charging. The hub has a metal casing, not plastic so it should be durable if you are using it on the go. Both HDMI 4K 30 Hz displays can be used at the same time in either mirror or extended display modes for up to 3 different displays.I tried this device out using my iPad Pro 2021and it worked nicely. Using the File app, you can access the USB or TF/SD items plugged into the hub. No external power source is needed as it is powered by the USB C connection to your device. All items I connected worked and had a snug fit into the hub. There was even a snap connecting the USB C into my iPad.

Compact and versatile
After upgrading to latest MacBook Air that has only 2 thunderbolt ports, I needed an USB-C hub to connect USB-A devices and to read memory cards. This KOZYC USB-C hub is made of aluminum body and compact with light weight. The cable and USB-C connector plug are sturdy.Besides having 2 USB-A slots and SD card slots, I like the fact that it also has 2 additional USB-C ports after this device taking up one of the ports on the laptop. Having 2 HDMI ports are bonus for me since I hardly use external monitors.Even after transferring 20GB of date through this hub, it stayed cook without releasing any heat. The fits at the each ports are just about right without being too tight or loose. This is one of the must have accessories for MacBook Air owners,

Using it mainly as a USB hub, but the dual HDMI output is a handy addition.
