Is it me or new computers have less plugs nowadays? This cool gadget helps a lot with that, providing so many extra ports to plug things in. It works really well, reacts fast, and had not issue with it. It is compact enough so it is easy to take on your trip as well. When you have to detach your computer from docking station, this provides extra ports that you need when you are away. Nice product.

Really good hub that does it all
Very well designed 8-1 hub is a bit of a Swiss army knife for a laptop. I contains just about every type of port you would need with a laptop. Case uses aluminum so it will be sturdy and hold up to being tossed into the laptop bag. Most small hubs donât have the ports printed on the top but this one does. That makes it easier to see which one to use. The cable is about 5-6 inches long so the right length of use with a laptop. Most laptops now contain more C than A USB ports so this has a C connector to plug into the laptop. If you have an older unit you may need to purchase a converter connector to switch it to USB-A.I also like the placement of the ports around all 3 sides. If you have to plug in 3 USB-3.0 flash drives may be a problem if they are too wide but other than that shouldnât be any issues.You can plug multiple flash drives into the hub and the laptop will recognize and display the contents without problems. On the SD cards you can only have 1 of the 2 slots filled at a time, if you have 2 slots only 1 will be recognized. This isnât a major problem since how often will someone have a regular SD and a mini SD card that they need to view at the same time. Transfers work well on all the hubs and since everything is 3.0 are fairly speedy. Ran several videos off a flash drive and an SD card and no issues with buffering played just fine.The HDMI port works fine and no problems with viewing the monitor, changing resolutions etc. Is a good way to add an additional monitor to your laptop.Does have a small blue light to indicate that it has been plugged into the laptop which is not a show stopper but still a nice feature.Overall a very good hub which should prove very reliable and usable.

Works well with my iPad Pro
While I love my iPad Pro, I am regularly stymied by its lack of ports. You really need a hub to use it to its full potential. This hub has been working great with my iPad for the past few weeks. Iâve used it to share HDMI video on a big screen TV to give a slide show, plugged in flash drives to transfer files back and forth, and pulled pictures off of my camera with an SD card. Iâve also loved being able to use USB devices or HDMI *and* charge at the same time. Build quality seems good – the aluminum case is sturdy, and the connection cable flexes with no concerns about longevity. For the iPad I do wish that the connection cable was just a little bit longer so that it could lay flat on the table when using the iPad at a desk with the keyboard cover. I currently put it on a book to raise it up by two inches.

Solves A Problem!
Have you ever had to play musical chairs with your laptops ports in order to upload, transfer, or edit photos or videos? For example, my current laptop only has 1 USB-A 3.0 port and 2 USB-C ports and does not have any card readers. I guess itâs the price for being a compact laptop.This docking hub solved my problem!Not only does it have 3 USB-A 3.0 and 1 USB-C port, it also has a SD card reader AND Micro-SD card reader (aka âTFâ card). I can transfer my GoProâs Micro-SD to my backup SSD drives and laptop hard drive at the same time â without having to swap things around!As an added bonus, the dock has the ability to act as an HDMI port for a second monitor. I havenât tested this feature yet.This reasonably priced dock seems to be built very solidly. My previous dock didnât have as many ports and seemed to be much more cheaply constructed. It always felt as if it was going to fall apart.

Worked with steamdeck, mac, pc but got really hot after I used 4 ports at the same time
WWLSV USB C Hub Docking Station USB C to HDMI 8 in 1 Adapter (4K HDMI USB3.0 SD/TF Card Reader 100W PD) Compatible with MacBook Pro/MacBook Air, XPS, Chromebook and More Type C DeviceNot in love with this one. It’s light but the aluminum doesn’t seem all that sturdy, feels almost too light. It’s as small as other hubs that have 6+ ports along with an HDMI but doesn’t feel as solid. When using more than 4 ports the temperature of the hub would get really hot and that’s never a great sign. It extended my display on my projector, which rarely happens so I have to give it accolades for that but that doesn’t expand my ability to accomplish more work considering the heat issue. In comparison to other hubs I own it’s not as reliable.

HDMI DOESN’T WORK !!!Tried variety of phones and HDMI cables. No go.Everything else works fine. Just don’t plan on mirroring your phone with this.
