THE Perfect Christmas Gift For A Truffle Lover
I thought the design of the tin container was cute when I saw it online but man when you get it in person it really is amazing. The box is so pretty with the red and gold appearing so bold and bright when you’re looking directly at it. The shape of the container is pretty amusing and when I opened it each bonbon was in perfect condition (although a few had flipped around somehow haha).The whole thing is a ‘present’ both in its presentation and idea so I think while this is a fun treat for yourself it’s even better if you get and give it to someone else for them to be surprised. The container is super adorable and the effect when someone else opens it is very much enjoyable.You don’t get a ton of bonbons but each one is pretty lovingly crafted. I like the variation in design and if you do want to have this as something shared its fun for everyone to crowd around and choose which one they like or which one they find especially delicious looking.Overall it was just a really fun experience and I recommend it.

Still good a month later
I ordered these to put out during a Christmas party but some of the family ended up sick and we didn’t get together. I had stashed the colorful tin away so I wouldn’t be tempted before Christmas and I just found them while organizing my pantry shelf. (Shelf was a mess from the holidays).The little chocolates are still delicious. I don’t notice any whitening of the chocolate after they sat in my panty for over a month, so these must have been a fresh batch.The outside of the chocolates have a nice harder shell and the inside is creamy. I like the two textures mixed. The outside shell makes it hard to turn these smaller treats into two bites as you can’t easily split it into two bites with out making a little mess.The tin is really colorful and sturdy. It can easily be reused for other storage after the chocolates are gone. The outside box was also nicely printed so these should make a nice gift.I did not see any paper insert saying what the chocolates were, so you have to guess as to what the insides might hold.Overall I’m pleased. They are a little pricing and I think some of that price is just the tin. The price per value received is why I rate these a 4 star treat.

Tasty truffles, but some flaws
This gift tin is beautiful, and the chocolate truffles inside are all quite tasty. The tin is sturdy and closes tightly, and the inner plastic holds the truffles in place snugly so they all arrived looking picture perfect. There is a small insert with the nutrition information for each of the truffle flavors. However, there is no key indicating which is which, so while you can narrow things down by type of chocolate (white, dark, or milk), you still have to guess in the end. The chocolates were also not sealed in plastic within the tin, nor was the tin itself sealed. While close inspection indicated that everything was fine, this was still pretty unusual. Overall, it’s a lovely gift tin for the holidays, but it could be improved by a more informative insert and a safety assurance seal.

Food poisoning warning
Can chocolate go bad? YES! If itâs pale in color – STAY AWAY! I had one and the taste was offâ¦.bland and not very sweet. 20 mins later my stomach was cramping. I felt queasy. I went through my head what I had that night and what I made. Seeing how my family wasnât sick and we all ate the same thing. 10 mins later I was super nauseous and sweating. Finally had to vomit and shortly after they ended I was feeling better. Clearly food poisoning.

Delicious chocolates
This would be a great gift for a special someone and the chocolates inside are very decadent. I usually prefer a darker chocolate profile but these were sweet but not overtly sweet. They have a creamy texture and mild chocolatey tones. It would go great with some wine as a gift duo or even for yourself to sit and savor the gourmet chocolates with your favorite wine. My only gripe was trying to figure out what chocolate was what since the only information given in the box is a white card with the types of chocolates inside.

Delicious
These truffles are ready to give in a nicely printed box and then inside of a box shaped red and gold tin. They taste just as good as they look with the classic creamy truffle center. They run a bit on the expensive side, but they are a gourmet chocolate and the taste reflects that – itâs closer to what you would purchase in a chocolate store as compared to a drug store. If you need a quick and easy gift and you know the recipient likes chocolate, this would be an easy choice.

Stunningly pretty, but…
The box, the tin, and the truffles are incredibly beautiful. It looks so festive and it was exciting to open up the box, then the tin, and then taste a truffle! I initially thought it’d be a great gift idea as I was opening it, but was really confused by the lack of any plastic to seal the chocolates. I’ve never purchased a snack, much less gorgeous chocolates, that do not come sealed. That was disappointing and is a definite disqualifier for me to give it as a gift, but I have still been eating the truffles and enjoying them.

Not Sealed
This is a pretty gift tin of chocolate truffles. The tin is nice, and can be reused for other things once the candy is gone.But it wasn’t sealed in any way. The outer box had no tape or anything else, just flaps to untuck. The tin didn’t have a plastic seal around it either, the lid just lifts off. Nothing looked like it had been touched or broken, but if you prefer a safety seal on your food (I do!) you will want to look at other gift boxes.I like that it came with a mini key saying what each truffle was, and the ingredients. And there’s 2 of each truffle included. However you still have to guess between 2 of each. Like, there’s 2 kinds of milk chocolate: Amaretto and Caramel, and you can’t tell which is which unless you eat one.The flavors I got were: Dark Chocolate Champagne, Milk Chocolate Amaretto, Milk Chocolate Caramel, Milk Chocolate wrapped in red foil, White Chocolate Coffee, and White Chocolate Tiramisu.
