Serviceable
I like the rather compact size of this unit and the fact that everything comes in a charging case. I have a Samsung S21 and the receiver plugged right in with the phone case on. It has a USB C port on the bottom to enable charging while in use.The mics are fairly small and come with a detachable fuzzy windscreen. I also like that each mic can be charged without the case using their own USB C port. When the mic is worn in on the collar in the typical orientation, facing out, I don’t like that the LED indicators are pointing right at the camera. I also would have liked the ability to use these mics as a stand alone voice recorder for later download. When I played back the videos I made, I detected a noticeable hiss while using the mics in standard mode. The hiss disappeared when I used them in Noise Cancelling mode in the same environment.For recording, I placed my phone in one corner of my basement, walked around my basement, then went upstairs to the opposite corner of the house without any loss in signal quality. I did not test it beyond that range. Overall, it’s a good product, not great, and $40 seems about right.P.S. The Lightning receiver has a USB C port on the bottom, but not a Lightning receiver, so if you’re ever without your Lightning charger, you can plug the receiver into your phone and charge via USB C.

Sound is clear however battery will not charge to 100%
The microphones do sound exceptionally good and the noise filter is excellent without ruining the sound quality. The furry wind screen is awesome because it is made just for the size and shape of the transmitters with sleeves made to fit and keep them secure, it’d be hard to imagine losing them.When I received the kit I plugged it in to charge everything up inside the case. 2 days of charging and the charge indicators will not go past 3. There are 4 lights on the case that show the levels of charge but the 4th one never lights up and I gave up trying to get it to go to 100%. I do not know why the 4th light does not light up and it leads me to not really trust the charging system or rely on it as a true status of the battery life. So consumer beware on relying on this system to give you a sense of how long these microphones are going to last during recording time. I still think they are great recording devices to use but since the experience of not being able to fully charge them I cannot count on the claims of this kit. Last but not least is if there is an issue with the batteries then I simply would not trust them either as battery safety is priority over all else.
