Seems to be effective. My dog stops the scooting when I use this.
Wouldn’t be without it. Cheaper than a vet bill. And my vet likes it as well!

My dog had one anal gland removed. The vet recommended he continue the chew and so far no problems with the other gland and his stool is more firm. He also loves his chew!

I have purchased this product before at pet supply stores. I bought from Amazon because if was less expensive and delivered to my home. The product seems to work well for my dog in keeping his anal glands from getting blocked.

I bought these for my dogs because the groomer said they needed to have their glands expressed. I have big labs and I have never needed to express their glands. Someone I follow on IG suggested using these. The dosage for my dogs is 4 bites per day. They love the flavor and would eat them no matter what but I found it gave them loose stools. I pulled back to 2 bites every two to three days and it worked wonders. No need to do the anal glands expressing!

I wanted to wait to give this review until I gave this product a couple months to see results. My dog was having issues back in December with anal gland problems such as horrible fishy smell and impacted anal glands which caused irritation to her. I have been giving her this product for about 2 going on 3 months now and it’s been a HUGE game changer in her diet. The fish smell has completely went away and she hasn’t had any irritation or impacted glands since I started to give this to her. This product has been worth every penny. I highly recommend giving this product a chance but give it a couple months to see true results.
My dogs are both around 25 pounds and each get 1 a day first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. This has improved both of my dogs gut health tremendously.

My little Yorky no longer ‘scoots’ across rugs, lawns, floors, or anything. She gets half a Glandex soft chew every day. She wasn’t too keen on them originally. In fact, eventually I discovered if I put half of a chew on a small spoon with some peanut butter on it, covered it with a little more peanut butter and then rolled the whole peanut butter blob in some grape nuts, she LOVED it. *I don’t give it to her outdoors, though, because she’ll try to carry it off to bury it for later. The first and only time I tried that her face was covered with dirt, as well as the peanut butter ball, so I only put in her bowl after her ‘breakfast’. She’ll still carry it off and tried to hide it in a rug or under a blanket or her bed, but all I have to do is pretend very boldly like I’m going to try to grab that blob. She chomps it down very quickly.
