This medicine is a MIRACLE for my lab!
We started having skin issues with my lab two years ago, when she was only 8 months old. She would scratch so much she was bleeding, and we’ve had to bring her into the vet countless times for antibiotic and topicals. We’ve tried medicated baths (which help, but not entirely!), prednisone (which made her gain over 20 lbs in a very short amount of time!), topical creams and sprays, wipes that were medicated, and even allergy shots once we got to the point of figuring out she was allergic to dust, dust mites, mold, certain types of trees etc. NONE OF THAT WORKED! Not even the allergy shots. We’ve spent THOUSANDS in medical bills for her. Willingly, because we wanted to figure out something that worked so that she could finally have some relief. It just never came. So, I wish I had thought of this sooner, but I decided to start looking into something we could try on our own… without expensive vet visits, because clearly that was not working! Today marks one week of everything I implemented and she is doing so great I can’t even believe it! Her skin finally isn’t red, and raw anymore- and hardly anymore itching!! So here’s what I’ve been doing. I purchased organic coconut oil capsules and started giving her one a day which helps with the skin coat. I started giving her these vets best supplements everyday (she gets two capsules twice per day, per the weight chart on the back of the bottle). and I also started using Sulfodene First Aid Skin Medication for Dogs and Sulfodene Brand 3-Way Ointment for Dogs. Okay, so the Sulfodene products applied twice per day cleared up her “owwies” within 4 days and that’s saying something because not even the Rx medications did!! And they are inexpensive, so give them a shot!! And these vets best supplements are helping with the itching and preventing NEW spots from occurring. She isn’t even itching at all! And she used to keep us up at night with the constant licking at her paws and scratching! Her hair is even starting to grow back! Amazing, amazing product. So glad I decided to give it a shot! I had figured at this point, what’s another bottle of medicine wasted (if it didn’t work!), but based on the reviews I gave it a shot. SO GLAD I DID!!! I will put up pictures of the back of the bottle that lists ingredients in each capsule. GOOGLE THEM! I did… and these ingredients really do work! Okay, now I’m rambling, but just had to write a review… my lab is finally herself again after two years!! 😀 Also, I should mention that I have no problem giving these to my lab. She eats them right up. And that surprised me, I used to have to give her antibiotics in peanut butter or she wouldn’t take them! 🙂

Pleasant surprise
For the first time in my dogs 8 year life she was very very itchy this summer. I don’t know what she got into or what got on her skin but she was really miserable. Special baths and treatments didn’t seem to help at all. I researched Amazon and I found this product in particular and I decided to give it a try. I was really surprised to see that it was effective from the beginning. Within a day her itching slowed. My dog weighs about 18 lb and she gets a half of a pill twice a day. After about 2 weeks worth of taking this supplement she is 99% itch free. I’ll keep her on it until frost.

Dissatisfied with the product
I need take a picture of it, but I am annoyed with it seem like the ingredients have changed. My dog is six years old now, and it was never like this his allergies his coat look like I don’t know who is being evil to the dog his eyes is puffy. His nose is puffy Definitely I am not liking none of it. I have to move on to another brand. This is ridiculous. This is not right.

Pills are oversized
I just received this supplement for my 50 lb dog with chronic itching. The pills are huge with sharp edges. She won’t eat them voluntarily. So I have to quarter them and force them down her throat 8 times a day! They may or may not work for her, but the design of the pills is not swallow friendly. If your dog doesn’tgobble up medications voluntarily like some do, and is sensitive to having bitter additives in its food, you’re faced with a separate problem.

No more itchy skin problems!
Bought this for my Golden Retriever who suffers from bad summer seasonal allergies. He breaks out in hot spots and the vet would give him a cortisone shot and medicated shampoo. It didn’t do much and would usually worsen to the point he got infections and had to be on antibiotics for a month. Saw the Vet’s Best Hot Spot Relief spray in Petco and bought it hoping it would help my poor guy. I chose Vet’s Best because it was the only all natural product on the shelf. My boy had relief instantly! I went on their website and saw these pills and decided to buy them as well. It does take about 2 weeks or more to notice any change. His hot spots turned a crusty brown/green color and started drying up when I paired the hot spot spray with these seasonal allergy pills. He loves eating these every morning. They’re his pre-breakfast treat and he gobbles them up no problem. I also bathe him in a oatmeal and baking soda shampoo from PetSmart. It’s their brand shampoo, very cheap and works great. I bought the Vet’s Best hot spot relief shampoo and it didn’t do anything besides make him smell really good. The oatmeal and baking soda shampoo calms his skin and leaves him smelling great. I recommend bathing your fur baby every 10 days in oatmeal along with these pills and the hot spot spray. It’s safe to bathe your dog frequently with the oatmeal shampoo and it helps wash away any pollen, rag weed, allergens trapped in their fur causing them discomfort/itchy skin. Will these products make the problem go away entirely? Of course not, it’s meant to TREAT the symptoms and make it more tolerable for your pet. It’s their version of Clariten or Zyrtek. Allergies can’t be cured, but they can be treated and this product definitely does an AMAZING job at doing that. Than you Vet’s Best!!!!!

Après avoir essayé tant de produits anti démangeaisons, enfin j’ai trouvé le bon. Dès le 1er cachet, plus de démangeaisons, de grattages, de plaies, de hot spot. Tout ce que je peux dire, c’est que ça marche!!!

We have a pup who is allergic to long grass and gets a rash on her tummy when lying down in the fields. We gave her these tablets and the rash went within 3 days and she has not had a rash since after taking them. What was also good I did not have to give them in her food. She ate the tablet straight out of the tub so it must of been tasty. Pleased that the tablets have saved me from a big vet bill. These did the trick for my pup. 🤗

Hi ALL pet parents who have any breed of dog with any allergies.I had to write this review because its the first time that something has helped.I have tried everything that is available for my beloved staffy and this is showing lots of signs of relief….YAY!I have to say…every breed and dog is different and try them all till you find something that works. When you see your beloved pet suffer (year after year, hideous season after season), you jump out of your skin and think….WHY? Why isnt there something for mine that can help?Ok so I gave this a go.Keep in mind that, Spring/Summer are the HELL months and Autumn/Winter is PARADISE!And, like clockwork, the day Spring starts, so does the redness and scratching :(I started one tablet each meal at the end of Autumn and at the end of Winter, I increased it to 1.5 tabs per meal. That way, his system had gotten use to it and we were into full swing come Spring. The other plus, is that he had no reactions (what so ever) to the tablets or the dose. YAY!Ok, so we are into our last month of Spring(November) and I am happy to say that even though there are some signs of scratching….there is no redness or very little….tiny amount. In comparison to the horrible amount that was prior to these tablets.Give them a go and work out the correct dosage for your pet.Highly recommend!I just want to add:He is on a strict organic raw diet. Never dry! No human food or crumbs…what so ever! All food, treats, bones/supplements are organic. No poisons or chemicals go in him or on him at all! Eg. vaccines, flea treatments, medicated shampoos etc.He is almost 10yo, people ask… Why does he look/act like a puppy/so young?Food is medicine!…Thanks to “Augustine Approved” and “Organic Paws” 😉
