Perfect in my pantry
This is my second set. I bought the first, larger set about a year ago and was skeptical about how they would perform. They made the pantry look so much better than my hodgepodge of jars and plastic containers. I love the sizes. The tall skinny ones hold enough for my needs without taking up a lot of shelf space. The smaller sizes stack and the stacks don’t fall over. Everything has stayed fresh. Even brown sugar didn’t harden up and dried fruit stayed moist. So I bought this second set to store my remaining items (lots of baking and cooking here). One of the complaints I read was how hard the tops were to latch. After they have been used a few times, it’s much easier. And I found that when they are still new, pressing down on the side you are trying to latch makes it a piece of cake. There have been no problems, no plastic odors, no tabs have broken off, or anything else. No half-bag of pasta gets lost anymore, nothing spills, no vermin. Now, if I could just find someone to do the cooking, I’d really be a happy camper.

I love these containers
I bought these after first purchasing a larger set from the same company. I used both sets, along with three inexpensive but pretty wheeled carts that fit in narrow spaces, to create pantry storage in plain sight. My kitchen had no place for food storage and I couldn’t afford to have cabinets installed. The method I used was less expensive than buying a large cabinet which wouldn’t have fit in my tiny kitchen area. These containers look nice on the narrow wheeled carts I found from Amazon. They conceal food packages well enough to create a unified look so my food storage doesn’t look like clutter. I was able to fit dry foods like pasta into these containers easily. They wash and dry easily and are tightly sealed, so they should be able to protect food from humidity and possible ant attacks. They’re narrow enough for my small hands and the lids are universal so they line up perfectly. It might be necessary to lean against the lids in order to get them to click into place. This is a good thing because it proves that the seals are good.

When I opened the package, I thought that the containers were very small. After organizing my dry goods, I think they’re good sizes. The large container fits 3 lbs. of elbow macaroni, the next size fits 2 lbs. of pasta, etc. I tend to buy extra of certain things so used two containers for a few. Love that the marker included has a fine tip, making it easy to write clearly on the labels. Living in the south, I try to remove any dry goods from manufacturer packaging if it’s paper or cardboard immediately when I unpack my groceries. We have limited storage, so the canisters are on the bottom of the antique buffet and fit perfectly. The only thing, as the other reviews noted, the canisters are tapered to the bottom. This makes it easier to grab what you want but also you lose valuable storage space. They’re not shaped like the pictures indicate. The seal is super tight, no worries about food going stale. All in all, I’m very pleased with them.

Muy bonitos… son del tamaño adecuado para guardar todas las semillas y además son herméticos y las etiquetas padrisimo que se puedan borrar y volver a escribir. Me faltan más:)
