oh my, this works great. Picks up sound very well, even over 20 feet away. A fun item to add to our pirate theme event. This item is very entertaining. Makes you laugh. It is really fun. We will be using it with other props for a trunk or treat. Love that the wings and the beak move.

Waste of money
When I first opened it there are no instructions. I put the batteries in, it worked great! 10 min later battery died. I replaced the batteries and got about 3 hours. It died again. This time, I replaced the batteries and nothing. It won’t work at all. My poor African grey is so sad. She loved having a friend to talk to 😞. I wish I could find something similar that would actually work

Check the dimensions…this is a small toy. The mouth moves well with the speech, although the speech is not always clear. $20 is a little expensive for what this is, although it does work well and the kids love it.
