Love it
I saw a lot of bad reviews about this product, but let me persuade you. Yes, the latches on the sides and the handles on top are fragile, yes it leaks if you have any of the compartments filled with water while carrying it.But for my 4 day camping trip, loading 3 compartments with food and leaving the top compartment empty was so handy. When we stopped at gas stations, I would fill the empty compart with water, she’d drink, and I’d empty the rest. The whole thing makes for easy carrying. Be gentle with it and you’ll see why it’s worth it.Plus I got extra handles and latches for the sides.I’m really excited to use this more. We live with another dog in the family house hold and I can’t wait to utilize this for both dogs.I love the color blue, it’s so easy to clean, and it’s easy ro use as long as you aren’t chucking it around and handling it too rough. The kids would have such an easy time feeding the dogs while camping with this.It was a little smaller than I anticipated (one cup of food per bowl)My vizsla (50 pounds) had enough water and room for wet food on top of her kibble to double her food intake while camping.Happy users, here!

Great solutions to multiple problems!
I’ve only had these for a few months, so I can’t tell you how long they last. But they have transformed my pet-keeping. We have 8 cats, four of which are kittens. Did I want 8 cats? Don’t ask. It’s a long and twisted story, which got complicated last October when we took in a new mother cat with 4 newborn kittens, all of whom were very, very sick with giardia, thanks to a neighbor who threw a deer carcass in his yard, which the mother got into before we found her. We have had to use many kinds of food, and some of our cats eat different foods than others, mostly for health reasons. Having to keep various bags of food around was trying my already frayed nerves, what with the mess and clutter. With this, we were able to move the bags to storage, and load up each cat’s food for several days, while keeping some of their medicines in the top container. This neat stack sits in a nook in the corner of the room. When it’s feeding time, we just take out the bowls and let them eat out of them. It would get pretty messy if it didn’t run out of food in a few days, but when we reload them it’s a simple matter to wipe out the stainless steel bowls and start fresh. That may sound complicated, but to me it’s a lot simpler than keeping many bags of food within reach. In fact, this thing just makes it easy.I just ordered some more so that when we travel we can have a week’s worth of food on hand without any bags. This is SO convenient. So far, the latches that connect them together, and the handles, all seem pretty strong. They don’t look it, but they feel solid.I could go on and on about the things they’ve inspired, such as actually taking trips with our cats rather than leaving them at a kennel, or leaving food convenient for a sitter to come by a couple times a day and feed them easily, and many other things. But… you can see for yourself what these bowls do. Think about having your food so handy. So easy to put away. So invisible, stashed in a corner. They hold about as much as our Rottweiler’s bowl, but you can fill them up to the brim, and for cats it lasts for days. Stacked together, they feel like one solid unit.Oh… the kittens are fine now. It was a lot of work, but they made it, and they’re so cute! Not so little now, but still full of kitten energy, and they love these bowls as much as we do. (probably more)

Good for Taking Your Dog to Work or Quick Trips
I recently bought this for my puppy. I take her to work with me (benefit of working at a veterinary clinic) and she also stays over at friends’ houses, so I needed something that was suitable for traveling. She’s a large breed puppy, so I chose the large size containers. They were smaller than I was expecting, so I was initially disappointed but once I thought about it I realized that I didn’t need to bring a week’s worth of food with me just to go to work or a friend’s. So really the size is perfect. The top container has a little valve because you can vacuum seal it (like a travel mug) and opening the valve helps you get the lid open without spilling water everywhere. I don’t think the other containers are suitable for liquids. Each container holds 2 cups worth of my puppy’s food, so I can easily load them up and have enough food for her, and when she’s an adult it should hold a couple day’s worth of food. The water dish I don’t think is super appropriate for a day’s worth of water for a larger sized dog, but it’s nice to have at work because I can refill it and then put the lid on and the whole thing home in a nice little stack. The other thing about these containers is you can use them for just about whatever, especially if you have a smaller dog. You can put toys or other small items in one, leashes and waste bags in another, and so on. So for a small or toy breed this would be a nice little go stack to have for short trips. For medium to large breeds it will pretty much get you through a day at work or maybe out at a campsite overnight or something provided you brought extra water. The containers are of good quality, have hard plastic exteriors, stainless steel interiors, and the locking mechanisms are simple and easy to operate. The lid for the vacuum top also has little handles so it’s easier to carry around. I wouldn’t call these fragile but I don’t think you should really beat on these either, like with most products. Just use it like an adult. If something happened to mine, I would definitely buy another one to replace it. I like that it all stacks up and I can put it in my backpack and take my puppy with me and not have dishes and baggies of food all over the place.
