Works and Sounds Great!
I was looking for a better quality sound for videos that I post in a somewhat noisy environment. I also wanted something easy to use that I could not have to worry too much about battery life with either. So far, Iâm very impressed with this product. It serves my simple purposes of just wanting better audio without spending a fortune, and it does a really good job of blocking out all the background noise.

Easy to use, great quality
I do webinars for work and wanted a microphone for my phone and for a laptop. I use only Apple products, and these two microphones work perfectly. The only caveat is that each microphone records on the same file, so if you use two microphones for an interview, there are not 2 separate audio files. Itâs fine for my purposes.

They do work if you fiddle with them
I bought these as finding mics with a receiver that plugs into a phone audio port is tough. In fact these were the only ones I found here. I wanted the receiver to plug into the audio port so I could at the same time have an extra battery plugged into the USBc port.These do not work with my default camera app, I used opencamera. This seems like that’s pretty normal per my research.I found plugging the receiver into my phone audio port and then turning receiver on worked best. In fact it was the only way it worked when plugging it into 3.5 mm audio port. Maybe USB c method works either way, didn’t test that.The 20 meter/65′ distance in the description is a bit off in my experience but not by much. At about 40′ if I turned my back to my phone the mic would drop out but if I turned toward receiver it would work fine again.Battery life on mics seems fine but my actual usage time on these was max 3 hours per outing.Getting the wind muffs on was more difficult than it needs to be, I almost gave up and thought the muffs were wrong but I did finally get them on and they work. They might work better than they need to but I used them when wind was at 20 mph and never heard wind noise once when I played back my videos.So if you just want to get started with whatever you are doing that requires a mic these do work OK.

Don’t waste your money
Total waste. I bought this one and was very excited. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. It doesn’t work. It turns on and then turns off within seconds. I tried everything. I made sure everything was chagred, tested my other mic, read articles online, and nothing helped fix it. I’m not sure if I got a fault one or not, but I didnt realize until the 30day return period was over, so I’m extremely disappointed.

The instruction sheet for this kit was printed in absurdly small type. After getting a magnifier I found the documentation not much help.Trying every setting the 1/8″ output overloads every device I’ve plugged it into.
