This XLR/USB Dynamic Microphone is soooooo NICE! The sound quality is crystal clear, with excellent noise reduction that ensures only my voice comes through. Not bad as a starter, not much volume in USB mode but okay
If you can’t afford one of the nice Shure, Rode or similar excellent, but expensive microphones frequently seen in use by well known content creators this might be an acceptable starter mic. Especially if you want a similar “look” to those microphones. It can be used either as an XLR microphone with an audio interface/amplifer or it can directly plug into your device via USB. HOWEVER, I found that when using it via USB it was necessary to max out the Gain to get an acceptable recording. I do not have this problem with a Blue Yeti USB microphone (which only cost about $10 more than this one when it was on sale) With an XLR audio interface this microphone might work better. If you already have an interface then again, it might be an acceptable starter microphone. The voice audio quality is decent and it seems to do a good job rejecting unwanted extraneous sounds as far as I can tell. I would NOT recommend buying this microphone if you also need to purchase an Audio interface simply to supply sufficient volume to this microphone. In that case I’d recommend a better USB microphone which would be less costly than this microphone plus an interface/amp. I have no feelings one way or the other about the LED lights. If you like that sort of thing they are fine but it would have been more useful to supply some hardware audio options like alternative spatial options and reverb. In summation, I have no strong feelings about this microphone either positively or negatively. Just be aware that when used in USB mode you’ll want to max out the gain and stay very close to the microphone (but turn you head slightly to avoid those plosives!) The included table stand is stable with a sufficiently heavy base. A boom arm would be nice. This bundle didn’t include that. In this price range one would not expect one to be included, but it does include an adapter so it should fit any boom arm if you have or purchase one. The included USB cable is USB-C on one end (the microphone itself has a USB-C connector) and USB-A on the other for your computer/table etc but included is a USB-A to USB-C connector if your device also takes USB-C. If, like my iPhone, you’re still on a lightning connector you’ll need an adapter. I tested this microphone with the one I have from Apple (named the Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter but it’s how you connect USB audio input to Lightning devices). This microphone works fine so long as I also plug in the charging cable. Without it, the microphone doesn’t seem to get enough power from the iPhone through that adapter and goes into an error mode (flashing red LED and stops working) so be aware of that if you plan to use this with an iPhone or iPad in USB mode. Note that I do NOT have this problem with the Blue Yeti. It works well even when no charge is supplied to the iPhone and I can record comfortably on it on the iPhone or MacBook with the gain set at about 60% So, if there are things you like about the look of this microphone and the price seems attractive and you can manage the volume issue then you might be pleased enough, but overall I’m sufficiently unenthused so that I recommend you shop carefully before deciding on this device. If the price were to drop to $49 then I’d say it’s worth a try.

Better than I expected
I am increasing surprised by the sound quality that some of these lower-mid tier microphones are starting to put out. Only a few short years ago to get the sound quality that this microphone can produce a person would have to spend at least twice or more to get it.The audio capsule is very sensitive and actually performs more like a shotgun microphone when pointed at the subject. The sounds and tones are good before any filtering or audio effects are added. The RGB is fun but not necessary. The mute button is a nice feature that turns all of the RGB red when muted (a PC connected feature). The desk stand is fine but the microphone is sensitive to table hits and touching directly. Those sounds can be fixed with mic boom.It is by no means a perfect product or the secret diamond-in-the-rough that everyone should run out to get. Where this microphone is doing a bit better than its direct competition is with its dual output options. Not only can it be plugged directly into a PC for new audio beginners to use but it also has an XLR out for connecting to a mixer or audio interface for the more advanced user. While shopping for microphones in the mid-tier budget range it is an option to explore while trying to decide what to get. It is way better than I expected it would be. 5 stars.
