I recently bought this item to combat the hot weather in NYC and it has been very satisfying. Others have shown envy for having it to cool me down during crowded sections. The clip function was ok but only for standing. Being a heavier-set person sitting with it does get covered up with reduced efficiency but the strap that came with the device came in handy to still utilize its powerful windspeed. I even dropped the item a few times and it was rugged enough to handle small drops with no issues. I hope they can improve on charge speed to have a case for the last min. trips. I recommend this portal fan.

I hardly write reviews because most things are just ok or good.
But, this item deserves a review. I am average weight and good health. I say this to say I struggle with heat exhaustion!
With in minutes of being in hot and humid climate my energy depletes quickly. I was at a baseball game yesterday 96 degrees and humid in direct sun. When walking I clipped it in my back pocket under my shirt and it blew up my back on high. Then when I was sitting down I wore the lanyard so it was blowing on my face. It was on high for over 4hrs and still has a lot of battery left. I paired this item with a wrap around neck fan so I was covered at all angles, along with drinking two hydration packets and 2 bottles of water in the heat. Stay hydrated, take breaks often and USE THIS FAN!

It’s a nice fan. It will cool you down a bit during light work. Working in the trades I picked this up to try it out and it was ok but not worth the money.

Ordered mine back in Sept 2022 .. I used it a few times and found that more often than not, if i had it clipped to my belt, my shirt would fold-over around the shirt clip and still block airflow, because the clip was only a few inches deep, and not deep enough to let the shirt hang down. So, what you have to end up doing is bunching up your shirt, and putting it in the clip. When the fan is on the lanyard it works okay, but the angle is a bit too steep to hit where it needs to. all-in-all it works okay, but could use some R&D.
On one side of the package they show a green fan, with model # NF152, and on the reverse side of the package they show an orange fan with the model # NF151. So, depending on the color you get, you’ll have a different model number. A nice long 40 inch cable (USB to USB-C) was included. The included lanyard is of decently good quality, and even has a quick-disconnect Y-clip. They even included a nice little belt for you! 🙂 I didn’t really find the belt useful, as it simply blew all the air past, and not onto me. It’s really intended for you to tuck the shirt over it. I think it would work better on the lanyard if they shortened the lanyard about 2/3 the current size or 1/2 the current size, to make it sit higher on the chest, and point the airflow better. This is all just personal preference though. The fan is very powerful, has a long life, and provides good air flow. I am happy with it.
Instructions were very nice, and written well. I do think that they should work on the Tech Support side a little – an email for “afterservice1@yahoo.com” is not really a ‘Business Appropriate’ email… If they wanted to do something like ‘YeedieProducts@yahoo.com’ I would find that more agreeable, but this seems a little slap-dash thrown together and shady.
I used this a few times in the late summer of 2022. I pulled it out again in the Spring of 2023. I saw it had 2 levels of battery left, out of three, (34-66% Battery Power, according to manual) and decided to charge it. When I hooked it up, using the same cable I use to charge my phone, thru my computer, the battery made a loud screeching noise, and then all the lights began to slowly flicker. As I was reaching to unplug it, the lights all cut out and the unit died. After that, no matter what cable or what power source I tried, the unit would not come back on, or charge. Not sure what happened internally, but clearly the batteries shorted out.
